My uncle is working in a management business overseas and one of the affiliates is settled around Taiwan?
It's worse than you think, the companies there are all trying to buy Lay away.
One of the Chinese company offered him a salary of 7:3 with a down payment/deposit of 113 billions. But on Lay's side, he completely ignored the offer and didn't even give them the opportunity to contact him. Now, he's resolute on staying with SM and taking legal actions against them.
Lay said that he will definitely stay with EXO so he's refusing all the brokers.

Here's the thing, LSM is pretty much a genius when it comes to creating and marketing. So many have tried to copy, but learning directly from him and getting his encouragement is more worthy to a lot of people in SM. Yes, Lay will probably go on his own, but it seems he wants to do it when he's more educated and at the same time, continue to work on his career with EXO.

Let's face it, the music business is based on profit and greed. It should come as no surprise when people leave companies and do well (or look like they are doing well). Sometimes it is enough for their career. While others still want to improve.

There is no problem with that either way.

Rumor or not, I just want Yixing to be happy. And I feel like the rest of the members are showing more of their affection towards him and trying to include him in everything, which is nice. It's obvious that Yixing does care for his members as well, and as long as SM continues to give him the opportunity to advance in China on his own while still being an EXO member, then I can see why he wouldn't want to leave. I'm just sad that it took 3 members leaving for this to happen.

I doubt the validity of the whole "my uncle/friend/cousin twice removed" so and so because it's pretty easy to make stuff like that up and have it be legit lol!!

I have a question and while I can probs answer it myself I just want to know;
Why do people legitimately hate those who leave their groups? Like I can understand not being happy but it's the weirdest thing to me to constantly see comments from both knetz and comments on onehallyu or anywhere there are so hateful towards ex-members. Even with something like this you can see that somehow lay is being put on a pedestal because "oh he's not like OTHER Chinese, he's got morals and honor and is better!" And how is that making it any better?
Also it confuses me to no end when people make comments biting those who leave so constantly and then make those backhanded comments towards people who stay. What if lay eventually wanted to leave? What if something happens and he decides he wants to leave? Is he suddenly a horrible person?
I honestly think people take it so seriously, hating on celebs for what they do. Or rather, making the point to constantly spend time on the internet hating on them lol

I am not sure I believe this, however I don't doubt he has received good/amazing offers in China, but with all those Chinese betraydols leaving before him and from what I can gather so far from his personality and how he had to manage the situation when the others left, I doubt he'll leave SME even if he has the chance, at least for quite a few more years.

Which is sad tbh because they don't make him justice, at least he got some good parts in their new song. I mean even Tao with all his problems is making bank in china and getting a lot of offers.

I hope he joins the betraydol line soon tho ♥
