Jellyfish Drops Teasers Of 3 Members Of New Girl Group gx9

Jellyfish Entertainment has dropped individual teasers for three of the nine members of the agency’s new girl group gx9.

In the teasers, which were released on June 14, Jellyfish Entertainment reveals members Hana, Mimi, and Nayoung.



A “Produce 101″ trainee, Nayoung was previously confirmed to be debuting with Jellyfish Entertainment new girl group along with fellow “Produce 101″ trainees Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina, who subsequently debuted with temporary girl group I.O.I.



Jellyfish Entertainment kicked off the official teasers for gx9 yesterday on June 13 by revealing what looks like the official logo for the group.

gx9 is slated to debut by the end of June.

ioi group promotions have ended, now theyre doing units. the first unit is ioi - the members who are promoting with their own groups (and yeonjeong). so they're gonna be in the group as soon as it debuts.

Nice styling!
The logo is well done and will be easy to adapt to other concepts, but how are you suppose to tell this name?
I'm not really surprised with the cute/innocent looks of these teasers, hopefully they'll get interesting storylines/concepts like VIXX :)

The thing I can't get over is that there's a member called Mimi (if it's not her actual name, then I will judge Jellyfish).
That said, Jellyfish should know that group names with the number of members in them never work, because it's basically tempting fate.

Terrible name, and although they look beautiful, they look so much like all the other semi-new/rookie girl groups right now. I live for VIXX, so I am going to tentatively have hopes that Jellyfish will musically surprise me here.

Unrelated, but I don't understand wearing a headband nonfunctionally. Like.. you use it to keep your hair OUT of your face. Otherwise, just wear cute clips or summat.

also kinda ironic how everyone's saying they don't want a cutesy concept but is already guessing it will be one based on the bare minimum info. i know in this case jellyfish has said it will be but it's not like you can tell what a song/concept will be like just by some clothes and colours. for example, ppl might think lovelyz is cutesy based on that kind of thing but their recent cb was definitely more mature and mysterious.

i really like the look of these teaser photos, its like a nautical beach princess look. im into it.
if they do an "innocent" concept i think mina will shine bc she was absolutely enchanting in the p101 performance of i don't know. that eyesmile... yeah.
