i was agreeing w/ u while also saying like, the general public isn't going to really care lmao i feel you. i'm not really into CL and haven't followed 2ne1 for years, but i think CL might've had a vague chance (she's cute, she can speak english fluently, bc westerners see asian people with accents as comical) if yg had handled her properly. but yg is a shitshow to begin with, and it seems like korean companies don't have a realistic understanding of the american market. which would be fine if they didn't seem so eager on gunning for it?? idk.
