EXO's 3rd Album 'EX'ACT' has exceeded 660.000 copies, making it the highest pre-ordered album ever. Total preorders for EXO's 3rd Album, EX'ACT is 660,180 copies, 442,890 Korean version and 217,290 Chinese version.

EXO's previous album 'Sing For You' had 270.500 first week sales, so 'EX'ACT' is expected to exceed it.

Meanwhile, EXO is gonna release 3rd Album EX'ACT + "Lucky One + Monster" MV at 12 AM KST

i wonder if this is actually gonna show up in their overall sales though. hanteo and gaon confuse me so much. like the 150k that seventeen was said to have sold in preorder didn't show up at all on either gaon or hanteo, and the preorder sales for bts, eunji and twice didn't show up on hanteo either.

i think pre-order means the number of copies that music stores requested to SM. it doesn't guarantee 660k will be sold in the first week.

that's what i'd always assumed? and makes a lot more sense. i remember seeing a lot of people pissed when svt's first month gaon numbers didn't match up with the preorders but... like said: the charts are sooooo confusing.
