EXO releases tracklist for EX'ACT

EXO's 3rd album EX'ACT is going to be released on the upcoming 9th of June, through various music sites like Melon, Naver, genie, etc. The album contains 9 tracks of electronic music, pop, progressive R&B and etc. Various composers like Kenzie, Deez, LDN Noise, The Stereotypes, and Dem Jointz participated in the album.

EXO will release double title tracks. First song is called 'Monster' which stands out with unique sound & new/fresh vocal pattern. Second is 'Lucky One' which is a light, cheerful R&B punk dance track. 'Heaven' which Chanyeol participated in the songwriting will be added onto the album as well. This song describes one feeling when being with their loved ones and spending time with them, which makes them feel like as if they're in heaven.

'Stronger' is a minimal ballad track with a light light of jazz-like piano. 'Cloud 9' is a progressive R&B track with unique rhythm and synthesizer sound and its highlight is the fairytale-like lyrics that expresses a mind that is like walking in the sky by falling in love.'유리어항 (One and Only)', with modern synthesizer sound and dreamy sound R&B track sensuously expresses a man in love.

Next song is an ear-catching base and distinct groove pop track 'Artificial Love'. And touching lyrics like "Out of all the sounds of this world I only have to find you" stand out in electronic mid-tempo genre 'White Noise'. Also R&B sound integrated w experimental modern sound + trendy feels 'They Never Know' are the tracks for EXOs album.

9 tracks seems so light for an album as opposed to a mini-album. I get mini's seem to be around 6, but 9 seems so small.

Nine tracks? That's not much. Exodus was longer if I'm not mistaken.
Does that mean they'll get a repack?

I think Exodus was only 10 and they added 4 on the repackage to make it a more legit album length.
This is why I hold out for repackages

Yes I always hold on too! Especially with groups like EXO, SM won't miss an occasion to outsell 9x2 copies of an album for the second time ^^
And you're right, I forgot First Love was on the repackage since it was released earlier! 9 + 4 would be a good ratio for a full album.

Hmm that's pretty sparse for an album.
The descriptions sound interesting and I'm intrigued that they're meshing the R&B sound with other genres. I didn't care for Exodus so I hope this album pulls me back into the fray
