Hey, Omona!



A few weeks back you may remember we put up a mod application post. We are very thankful to all of the people that applied. Volunteer work & member contributions are what keep Omona going every day! <3

After narrowing down applications we chose two new queue mods and three new OPD_ comment section mods. Although, we may add more if it’s necessary.

NEW QUEUE MODS: kunstpause, & purple_blooms

NEW OPD_ MODS: opd_caya, opd_gyoza, & opd_sith

Now that we have more comment section mods we are accepting people who have been waiting in the member queue while membership has been closed. Membership will be officially open again shortly.

i think open membership will bring more people and new fans too ... that would be fun for all fandoms, specially for the rookie ones

HAHA! Well, applications will still be monitored so it's not gonna be the wild wild west :P We have no clue how many new people will apply once we do re-open, but we'll try to keep the flow of new members decent without throwing the omona ecosystem out of whack lol

I wanted to apply but I don't have much control with livejournal and I never know when I can I be on the computer and when not until last moment.

I hope with this changes there is a bit more life in the comments section! :D
but I have to admit I'm a bit scared of some crazy OTT stans appearing hahahaha

Hi everyone! I'm going to be the one to blame when your post gets accepted and then a more experienced mod tells you to scale down a pic or put something under the cut because some newbie mod overlooked it. I look forward to your submissions!

Also, being the newbie submissions mod when EXO decides to releases teasers made me want to cry. I was so scared SM was going to release a millions of them! But thank you for all the submissions!
