but fans are saying she was reading the netizens comments live, check video link around @5:30.
But she picked and found the comment funny... what do you guys think?

In my case, my family told me that dark skin is healthier and so that I should tan to be more beautiful. (im from south america)
Literally, all my life they said the same stuff cause im too white and so i look sick and ugly lol
Its interesting how its totally the opposite in other cultures, the thing they have in common is that both are stupid mindsets, etc >:(

Also, I think everyone is a little confused.
Jihyo is telling Jungyeon not to become dark(or reading a comment that said so) then Tzuyu comes in and asks why and says that she(herself) is dark.

OP, maybe you want to make that a little more clear? In the actual video she says "Jungyeon-ah, don't become dark"

Yes at Tzuyu and Chaeyoung essentially telling the fan to piss off in the nicest way possible lol. At their age not getting hurt by stuff like that is so admirable. This new wave of dark skinned confident kids makes me so happy.

Idk Jihyo doesn't seem to be laughing and she says sorry at one point (for picking the comment I guess?), so maybe she wanted to address people trying to dictate the way they look, I mean the way Tzuyu responded also seems like this is not the kind of thing Twice jokes abt behind closed doors... Or she really subscribes to colorism which would be pathetic since she should know what it's like to literally be treated poorly bc of looks. I've been anticipating this since they ranked them based on skin colour negl.

This is a really long comment but basically I'm heavily side-eyeing her knowing this won't be clarified. The fact that she even chose it is nagl at all. How disappointing, she was supposed to be our hero.

Yes @ side-eyeing Jihyo for choosing that comment to read and not at least saying something in defense or agreement with the others. The more I watched the video the more it seems to me that it was a comment and not something she just said. And after she says it she actually doesn't say anything else until they change topics, I think.

However, I wish everyone else also watched the video, though I can't fault them for not doing so since there is no subs. But with my limited af Korean knowledge I can tell you that the comment Jihyo read was for Jeongyeon.

-"Jeongyeon-ah don't become dark"
-Tzuyu comes in asking why and saying "I'm dark"
-A few seconds later Jeongyeon asks the commenters "Why is Tzuyu dark?" *some stuff I don't understand* "Sorry."(as if she's saying this to the viewers).

It might not have been her comment, but it says a lot that it's the one Jihyo chose to repeat AND not comment anything else after the others did. I'm disappointed in her.
