AOA To Abruptly End Promotions For “Good Luck”

AOA will be wrapping up promotions for their mini album “Good Luck” just two weeks after its release.

This means that last week’s “Inkigayo” marked AOA’s final music show performance for their latest title track “Good Luck.” To make up for the short promotions, AOA will soon be thanking fans for their support by holding a small-scale solo concert.

FNC Entertainment shared details about their plans on May 30 via AOA’s official website. The free concert entitled “Good Luck to ELVIS” will be held at Kyedang Hall in Seoul on June 11 at 6 p.m. and fan club members will be given first access to the tickets.

Regarding speculations about this decision coming after the “Music Bank” winner controversy, FNC explained they already started planning for a concert-type fan event around the time of AOA’s comeback.

Meanwhile, AOA grabbed music show trophies for “Good Luck” on last week’s “The Show” and “Show Champion.”

This is not directly related to this news, but does FNC hate Seolhyun? The way they are promoting her is like they want to milk all the money without giving a fuck about all the hate she gets. I know companies only care about money but jesus! if more people like your idol more people is going to spend money on them.
They are doing the least to calm things down and they also need to stop with the comparisons with Suzy because she is much more loved by the public and they are only making them hate Seolhyun more.
It's so frustating to watch all this! uuuuggghhh!

yep, a lot of times these things make me worried about the parents.
The idea of thinking about their parents reading news about their daughter that made a just a stupid mistake with comments that called her a b*tch, ugly, dumb, etc. it breaks my heart. This applies also to other groups that got OTT hate like Girl's Day for example.
People can be so vile. The ones making those comments don't know the limit and lack all kind of critical thinking. You can criticize something but the moment they get so personal and vicious about the idol as a person and not their mistake is that they clearly don't give a fuck about what happened and just want to spill all the hate they have inside on the internet and don't give a fuck about the repercussions. Which is really ironic because it's what a lot of times they attack idols for (not thinking about repercussions).

fnc should have just cancelled the promotions for this comeback entirely tbh. it would've meant taking a huge loss but this controversy is going to follow AOA (not just jimin and seolhyun) for awhile and they would've at least been able to save some face. OR, perhaps a better option, they should've promoted without jimin and seolhyun... not that i agree with the way they're being treated and talked about but like #forthegreatergood or w/e...
