Lim Kim Parts Ways With Mystic Entertainment

Singer Lim Kim (also known as Kim Yerim) has parted ways with her long-time agency, Mystic Entertainment.

On May 30, the agency made an official statement saying, “Our contract with Kim Yerim has come to an end. We decided to amicably part ways after many talks together.”

“We spent many years together so it was not an easy decision to make. We sincerely support her future career as a singer.”

Kim Yerim debuted in 2011 as part of the group Togeworl. The other half of the duo, Do Dae Yoon, is currently studying in the United States. The two of them appeared on season 3 of “Superstar K” and joined Mystic Entertainment in 2012.

Kim Yerim debuted as a solo artist in 2013 as Do Dae Yoon had to return to the United States for his education.

Interesting. My impression is her releases have generally been successful-to-very successful. 'Awoo' is of course a classic. Mystic does perhaps have a tendency to force the same collaborators on their artists' productions, even when those artists are singer songwriters. Whatever the case I hope she gets do to her thing somewhere else.

knetz say that he has a "celebrity disease" and is in general rude in real life hence why only lim kim has comebacks. he had photos taken at a club partying and thats always an issue in korea. im also pretty sure that he has said something in the past about another scandal and got really criticised but i cant find anything rn (or maybe im confusing him with someone else)
