Timbaland Joins Judges Panel On “Show Me The Money 5” In LA

On the May 27 episode of “Show Me The Money 5,” US producer Timbaland made an appearance as a special guest.

Auditions were held in LA for the first time for the TV series, and the episode featured the second round auditions. Timbaland joined the show’s judges to choose five contestants to join the reality survival show in Korea.

The other producers show their excitement that Timbaland joined them on the panel of judges. Simon Dominic states, “The fact that he’s sitting there next to us is unreal.” Dok2 states, “It was like watching TV.”

Timbaland comments, “I think [Show Me The Money] is the most innovative show that I have ever heard [of].” He further praises Korea for having their first hip hop program. “They took something that was heavily american culture and made it their culture”

I know right especially when he talks about how Koreans made hiphop their own...like no they straight up rip off of us to the point where its almost offensive. Like has he watched these type of shows before. Has he not seen people say n-word on tv or watch unpretty rapstar where the contestant closet to a black caricature won the whole series. It really annoys me to see black musicians cosigning this. But Timberland worked with Justin Timberlake which is every white persons favorite musician that does black music without actually being black back in the day. Now its Sam smith, Adele, and Justin Beiber.

Apparently they disbanded in 2015 because Cash Money kept postponing their work and releases :( I'm totally sad and weirded out to hear that, especially since there was a big hoohah about how they were signed for a $10 million contract. I looked it up since I was like "why is Flowsik on SMTM?"
