i really like the style of this shoot. i like how the group shots in the photobook don't look super posed but like they were taken in the ~moment

I got suckered into this group because of Jeonghan's long hair when they performed the girl groups tribute medley but I've to say I think this black bob is his best so far. It frames his face so beautifully so like you, I may have irrational issues if he decides to change it. But I guess fans were freaking out when he cut it bob short after that long hair reign so I think the lesson is to believe in his pretty cause he would make any kind of hair work? hur

i really wanted to add their haru hana spread but the official account has been saying to take down any scans bc of copy right (there're some shots out there tho, i would recommend looking bc they look like teenage heartthrobs, it's my favourite shoot so far)

DK and his eyes closing smile were one of the first standout for me as I was getting overwhelmed by learning who's who of the group. Boy is adorable as hell!

...it's been about three weeks since these life ruiners come into my life and while I've managed to learn their names (well the stage ones anyway) and faces, I'm continued to be so overwhelmed because ahh! I feel so old re-entering the stanning life cause 1) actual old age and 2) my stanning days were LJ based so now trying to navigate around tumblr and youtube is like me trying to do high level Math. I'm so confused of where to look! Of where to get all the updates! I wish there was a LJ community for 17 so this oldie can enjoy loving these kids without understanding how tumblr actually works! So definitely a "thank you!" and "bless you!" OP for somewhat catering to that need of mine ^_^8

I feel you! The only time I stanned so hard was for DB5K, which was also convenient because Omona was a Cassie stronghold in those times. And oh yeah, soompi too.

Yeah, I started out my fangirling life before Kpop with LJ so it's my go-to platform for fandoms. I love the ability to easily discuss/spazz/ uncontrollable hand movements in LJ. It keeps the discussion really organized and easily browse through whereas I still don't know how to get back to the original discussion with tumblr!

I would love a good place to get translations from plus a place where ppl love on Jun cause I don't think that boy get enough love within the group and in fandom :(

p.s: the boy in your icon is so mad talented I can't even. When I think about what he and Hoshi have been able to accomplished, my mind is like *_*

Aww, thanks! I remember everyone's surprise reaction at this ship when they first won cause I guess of that one time when Woozi side eye Jun for hugging him on the street of HK XD.

i didnt evem know that some people thought Woozi didnt like Jun because of that...I always saw it as Woozi side-eyeing Jun because of the cheesiness of the phrase and not at all because he didnt like Jun.

But I love how many interactions we've gotten from the two this era, it almost seems like the win (and Woozi's semi-breakdown) made something click. Jun seems to be more protective since then and Woozi even lets him pet his hair. Mr. i-don't-know-how-to-hug-people-back xD.

I do miss the lj days. I think I'd spend less time online having to go on one main site than go through tumblr, twitter, OH, to get my news/pictures/interactions + we would still be able to have proper convo between the members of the community. But I understand that ppl are over lj by now T_T.

Yeah, everything is so scattered and you have to weed through all the spazzing to find the news. Which is not optimal when you don't have a lot of time and makes it so difficult to memorise where you found what.
There are some tumblr-blogs or groups on fb that compile news and trans, but nothing with an active community.

when I first got in the seventeen fandom I didn't understand why I'd spend so much time online but I really think it's bc of that (I was in the TVXQ fandom before and they had more content but it wasn't as bad?). tumblr is good for reblogging pictures and Twitter is fun (and addicting) and great for live stuff but most of the time when something is going on in the fandom, I'm either at work or sleeping so I'm missing out on ppl having fun and when I get there, the news are lost in a sea of tweets. At least with lj, you'd get a thread and check it out later (and would be able to always read the comments).
Twitter is also not the best for deep convo. The Ize interviews that came with the photobook were great but I haven't seen ppl talk too much about it. Also, with the Haru Hana photoshoot, the interviews and pictures were fun, but we cannot spread the pictures on twitter, bc of copyrights. Having a locked lj would be great for stuff like that.

The same! DB5K and Seventeen are the only two groups I've been willingly waking up at 3am for. I love other groups like Exid, but those two are the only ones are the only ones I've ever stanned.

Yeah, I know what you mean, it gets weird sometimes when suddenly younger Carats start fantasizing about their thighs and stuff like that. I usually scroll by real fast. I have a lot of older Carats on my TL, so I don't have that problem too often though. It's pretty sweet how much they adore the guys.
