ROMEO is a 7 member group formed by CT Ent. in 2015, which later merged with Hunus Ent. in early 2016. They are the companies first idol group. The group, consisting of Seunghwan, Yunsung, Milo, Minsung, Kyle, Hyunkyung, and Kangmin, made their debut with "Lovesick" on May 7th, 2015. their group name is ROMEO because they hope to be everyone's first love hence their opening statement: YOUR FIRST LOVE!

Lee Seung Hwan (이승환) / Seunghwan
-Born December 10, 1994 (22 years old, Sagittarius)
-Height: 176cm
-Position: Leader, Lead Rapper, Lead Dancer





Fun Facts:

• Other members call him "The Nagger" because of how strict he is


• The neatest member


• Has wanted to be a performer since middle school


• If he wasn't an idol he would have wanted to be a schoolteacher


• Loves calling himself the maknae despite being the oldest


• Nicknamed "Cold Leader"/"Tsunde-Leader"; by the other members and "Friendly Leader" by himself


• Roommates with Yunsung, Minsung, and Kyle


• Had the longest trainee period out of all of them


• His hobby is writing lyrics while eating chocolate

Hwang Yun Sung (황윤성) / Yunsung
-Born March 19, 1996 (20 years old, Pisces)
-Height: 176 cm
-Position: Main Vocalist

Fun facts:

• Wanted to be a singer since middle school because he wanted to get attention


• His cousins are actress Hwang Jung-Eum and Produce 101's Ayoung


• The most loud and outgoing member


• Loves to eat and doesn't gain weight easily


• If he wasn't an idol, he would like to be a vocal teacher


• Often called the mood lifter of the group


• His ideal type is a cute girl who can eat a lot


• Other members say that Romeo would be like an "egg without yolk" if he wasn't there


• Trained for a little over a year


• Lost 20kg in approximately 2 months by doing jump ropes 1000 times in a day in order to become an idol


• Claims to be the only member who isn't afraid of insects, so he's in charge of catching them and releasing them outside


• Hobbies are playing the piano, composing, and traveling alone

• Pre-debut, he was part of a mixed cover group called Mesmerize X


• Briefly attended New York dance academy


• Was inspired to become a dancer in middle school after watching B2ST's Kikwang perform on TV


• Has a habit of answering people in informal speech


• His hobbies are choreographing and drawing


• Nicknamed "Mom" and "Janitor" because he's the only one who bothers to clean up the practice room


• Roommates with Hyunkyung and Kangmin, who both thought he was younger than them when they first met


• Dislikes summer

• His real name means "clever child"


• Picked Shinhwa as his role models


• Wanted to be a dentist when he was a child


• The other members describe him as timid and dorky


• Has an annoying habit of repeatedly asking the same question


• Shy around girls; has never dated anyone


• His ideal type is a charismatic/strong woman


• Competes with Hyunkyung for the title of #1 Visual


• His hobbies are swimming and kendo

Ma Jae Kyung (마재경) / Kyle
-Born January 15, 1997 (19 years old, Capricorn)
-Height: 178cm
-Position: Main Vocalist

Fun Facts:

• Very athletic, can do soccer, hapkido, and short distance running


• Was inspired to become a singer in his 3rd year of middle school when he saw how singers could move people through their music


• Wanted to be a police officer when he was a kid because he thought it would be good if he could use his athletic abilities to catch bad people and protect others.


• He and Yunsung knew each other from school before they became trainees


• When he first met the other members, they thought he was cold because he was too shy to talk to them


• Trained for a little over a year


• Has a large collection of iron Man and One Piece figurines, which he brought to the dorms from home


• His fans gave him the nickname "Twinkle Twinkle Jae-Kyun" because of his sparkly eyes


• Was a schoolmate of GOT7's Youngjae


• Has a habit of biting his hands and the other members (particularly Hyunkyung and Milo)

Kim Hyunjong (김현종) / Hyunkyung
-Born September 5, 1998 (18 years old, Virgo)
-Height: 184cm
-Position: Face Of The Group, Lead Dancer, Sub Vocalist

Fun Facts:

• Seunghwan says his first impression of him was that he "had the aura of a lovable idiot"


• Enjoys looking at himself in the mirror


• Very embarrassed about the fact that he can't wink


• Was inspired to become a singer after watching Rain on TV


• Currently attending Hanlim Arts High School


• Says he received countless presents for Rose Day and Valentines Day


• Relieves stress through sports and exercising


• Likes pranking the other members (dumping cold water on them after they exit the shower, randomly turning off the lights, etc.)


• Also very athletic, he can do soccer, sprinting, jokgu, leg wrestling, and weight lifting


• In his first year of middle school, he was chosen as a school representative in a national boys varsity and won a 3000m tournament

• Nicknamed "Gigantic Baby" by the other members


• Had trouble adjusting to dorm life at first because he was used to always having his own room


• The other members see him as their baby


• Sleepwalks sometimes but never remembers doing it. He would fall asleep in one room next to Milo, and would wake up in another room next to Hyunkyung.


• Described as hard-working and stubborn


• Currently attending Seoul School of Performing Arts


• Milo and Hyunkyung didn't think he would last long as a trainee when they first met


• Self-proclaimed master of rock, paper, scissors


• Often uses new compound words that are popular among young people in korea; the other members can't understand him


• The other members all agree he has become much more confident since their debut


• His hobbies are fishing, hiking, and mountain climbing
