It's such a weird song though. It's like 5 different songs mixed together with the tempo radically changing every 30 seconds. But congrats on them anyways.
I don't know if people are also forgetting that while they debuted 7 months ago, the group like this has only existed for 10 months. They only had three months to figure out how to work as a group before debuting. I think one of the things that is making them look worst is a mixture of them being really nervous on stage (sometimes it's so obvious that it pains me) and getting songs arranged in a way that doesn't work well with their different voices (they usually get shit when they do covers). Their lives when they are doing prepared songs and they are more comfortable with themselves are thousand times better. I'm not gonna deny they lack in that aspect compared to a lot of other groups, but some people are making it look worst than it is. That said, I'm glad even with all the shit they get they still keep singing live and not lip sync. And I know as time passes and they get used to the stage and all the attention, they will be able to do much better.
Yeah, that too. I know that some groups already have good vocals and great stage presence from the beginning, but that's more the exception than the norm. Most of groups that are now competent/good singers and performers started being average at best and then improved through years of experience so people should give them more time. Plus like I said, it's not like you need impressive vocals to sing pop dance songs. Stage presence/charms is more than enough for that.

right? the way people talk it's as if they're completely tone deaf. i think they're just fine. not perfect, but passable. they're practically kara 2.0 except technically jihyo is better than all of kara but jyp loves to give her notes outside her range
what are people even doing in kpop if they want people to sing well??? I mean sure, you get the occasional gem and I appreciate it everytime, but vocal acrobatics are not highest on my list of requirements for fun bops.
I've said this before but I really hope they get the triple crown for each show next week. I think it's still possible because they're still #1 in most of charts but then AOA will have fresh first week points so it's gonna be a bit difficult.
yeah, they're likely going to be nominated against aoa, jessica (because she's still eligible for nomination despite not promoting) and a combination of others who've been nominated lately next week. it'll be interesting for sure. i haven't seen twice's physical sales for the week, but i guess aoa sold 21k? so, they'll probably have a physical advantage.

yeah, ia. it's really hard to get a triple crown usually unless you're an established artist / group (who's been around for awhile) with a strong fanbase. twice is obviously getting up there, but they still have a bit to go before a guaranteed triple crown. i do think they'll be able to triple crown on one show next week; possibly inki again. but i think their chances of winning are gonna be lesser if not completely disappeared after next week. jonghyun is probably gonna take most of the wins during the week after next, and then we'll have exo coming in soon.
I mean, even established artists with a solid fanbase and solid digitals can't always get a triple crown, unless their competition is weak or they're basically a wall both digitally and fandom-wise compared to everyone else (ie: BB, EXO, SNSD) and Twice is obviously getting there but their physical sales/fandom power isn't still at that level to make them win triple crown in most of shows like it happened with EXO last year.
