I've been low-key following this show because of ken, but then i saw sandeul's team and woah, i get why they're always winning (*edited because my mind was elsewhere)
Oh my god. I knew Sandeul was a great singer but I didn't know he was THIS amazing. Not familiar with Jo Seonyoung but wow what a voice. Absolutely blown away. Ty for posting!
what we need is a sandeul solo in the fall, he's been on these singing shows building his rep w the public for awhile now and he's so well liked and acknowledged im sure his sentimental ballad solo would have korea shook
fyi the concept of the show is celebrity picking a non-celebrity to duet with and all duos competiting for the chance to sing again (which means bragging rights, exposure & $$ for the celeb, appearance fee for the non-celeb). Sandeul's partner is a single mom who was involved with music years ago (she even knows one of the panelists) but life got in her way.
They did so well that after each broadcast they trends on naver search rankings instantly. Sandeul improved even more compared to his Masked Singer day, I didn't think it possible but he is just delivering. Jinyoung, please give him a solo album.
Somebody should post Ken's performances too. They didn't do as well as Sandeul's team but gosh they were a perfect duo. Their tones matched, song choices were good and they were precious.
Also if for nothing y'all should watch for the Kendeul interactions. The day Ken won no.1 and Sandeul was in Japan, Ken called him to gush abt winning and racked up a huge international call bill lmao
kendeul is life! i know they have been working in some musicals together so i was glad to hear ken was in this show too beyond the fact ken has an amazing voice too OMG! the potential of cute interactions
the show PDs and writers fell in love with these cuties too! every ep they are together MBC posts behind the scenes of them being adorable together. I came for Sandeul but fell in love with Ken
slay! it's still tragic that his talent and hard work isn't more recognised and the few times he's on "best vocalist" lists he has to share them with overrated talentless hacks
Oh man, I got so emotional seeing him perform Etude of Memories. It's one of the songs that cemented my love for Kyuhyun's voice during his stunt on Immortal Song, and so seeing Sandeul perform it so flawlessly here means a lot. Also wow at them performing all these iconic songs and taking it beyond what anyone would expect every time. I got actual goosebumps watching their performance of Road!!
Also, I completely agree with everyone else: WM Entertainment, where the hell is Sandeul's solo album? Apart from him deserving it and it surely being a masterpiece, there's a very real chance of them making mad money with a release like that. I just don't get it.
