Ohh I see. Now I can see a total similarity between the aesthetic of this and most of those videos. I didn't know even Dream Girl was produced by them but it makes sense now. They surely love that kitschy aesthetics.

hmm...there is this recent trend of brightly colored walls and rooms which one shoots videos in

and the MVs often show random shots of random things like a telephone or a bust, or a toy or a teacup. Its been done a lot so it feels a bit basic to me. Kinda like a poor person's dumb dumb video.

This is the first time SM is using something like this. so im just surprised.

i'm guessing it probably does have to do with that trend then or, like said, if digipedi did film the mv i wouldn't be surprised at all. they did "dream girl" which had kind of a similar kitschy feel that the teaser does, and they did lim kim's "awoo" + exid's "up & down" which could explain a lot too.
