All of the members are individually unique, nobody really sticks out like a sore thumb. Their music videos make you feel good, their fan service is excellent on V app and fan signings. Agreed. People were waiting for the next group to replace SNSD (I even remember an omona original with possible candidates), and Twice managed to come at the right moment and snatched everyone's attention. They are an amazing, well rounded group and wish them nothing but the best. Who would've thought it would be a rookie group that would get this big?

ita with you. And even for the first point I think is not even something people can come out anymore. They are only half a year old with two rounds of promotions and you already can see how much they have improved live. People are acting like vocals is the most important thing when there is some WG and SNSD's live performances that are really bad in that aspect. I'm a fan of both groups but not for that reason, it's not that what makes a kpop group popular. The girls are working really hard and they deserve it like any other group.

I read that the trainees that were eliminated from their training program will be rid of any debt they occurred (within reason. ie. dancing, vocals) during their trainee period.
Meaning a % of profits from JYPE' debuted artists will go into that debt.

Someone told me after I asked in a GOT7 post that the boys don't have to pay back the debt and that they just get paychecks like normal. Like Bambam has bought his mom a house already and stuff.

at least eliminated trainees don't have to pay a debt. But like maybe that percentage of trainee debt is already within the percentage that JYPE takes for the company earnings already?

One thing for sure im a Twice trash now. Im they type that can only focus on one one group to stan. I love Winner but the shitty situation with YG and the fandom in general are throwing me off and then Twice...Twice just snatch all the attention i had. They're just sooooo adorable. I really really like Mina.

That crowd! It's impressive how far they already went in such a short time, and I'm loving every second of it. I don't think I've ever stanned a group pre-debut and saw the group become so popular, it was either already popular groups or slower rise. This is insane, slightly worrying at times and so exciting.
About older male fans, well... it's quite usual for girls groups in kpop to start with an older male fanbase. It's been discussed here a lot.
Netizen 1 understands it well, I think. "All of the members are individually unique + Their music videos make you feel good". I'm really glad they went with a nice, joyful energy as a concept, it fits them and it proves to be successful.

same! I feel weird stanning for a group before debut that is so popular now. But not complaining at all lol

I think they knew what they were doing since since sixteen with the girls they choose and even the songs. They wanted a group that looked different between the same members of the group and from the rest of girl groups, and gave them a young and energetic concept (the songs they got on sixteen were already like that) that is simple but at the same time no one else was doing it at that moment, and it worked!

Oh, I'm not complaining either. In fact, I like it so much that I hope it would have happened more often - or that I would have discovered kpop a bit earlier! Every now and them, Twice is surprising me with another unlocked archievement and I'm proudly giggling in front of my computer, haha.

Oh, they were really clever with Sixteen! And they surely already had this concept in mind - they were grooming the girls to end up with the ones fitting the joy/youthful concept as well as the core of Twice's appeal, that they're all different so that everyone can find someone to relate to/be attracted to. The first task on Sixteen was to show their individuality, before making up a team concept, after all!

i'm so proud of what twice have accomplished this comeback, they've been through so so much, especially my bias tzuyu, so seeing them with this much success makes me incredibly happy. they deserve it! it feels silly saying this.. but i love twice so much lmao.. i never thought i would stan another group as much as i stanned for soshi.

I love Twice! They deserve all the attention. As the first comment said, idk why people are suddenly so concerned about top vocalists lmao. This is pop music. As long as you can entertain me, i don't gaf about vocals...like yes, some people can sing and be entertaining, but it's not a requirement to be a great pop star. Charisma and charm outweigh vocals in pop music.
