MAMA Voting For Overseas Viewers Now Officially Opened!

After all the hype and discussions following the announcement of Mnet’s new annual music event MAMA and also the nominees list, the voting has been been opened officially for overseas voters and fans!

Overseas fans can now head over to: http://mama.mnet.com/2009/AwardVote/AwardVoteForeign.asp and vote for the ‘Best Song of 2009′ award.

Urgh, you need to create an account so they actually count your vote in the end... means that I'll have to dust off my lousy Korean skills and fight my way through the registration form! Because it saddens me to no end that 2PM's got only 335 votes so far... and 2AM just 9, what the?!

I don't understand why SM artists are on the list. Mnet is not going to let them win. Their beef with SM is going to cause them make up some BS saying that even though the online polls said they were winning it only influences a small portion of the final decision on who gets the awards. SJ, SNSD, and F(x) may seem like they are going to win but they aren't.

The online polls is 20% of the judging criteria. It's small but it affects if the earnings of the groups are close. :)

Well basically NO ONE from SM has appeared on Mnet countdown since the beginning of the year I believe.
I'm still a bit hazy on this whole situation though, WHAT exactly happened between Mnet and SM, and did it affect DBSK at MKMF last year or not? (seeing as how they won 5 awards including Daesang)
