Oops he did it again! - YG sings Sechs Kies. The group prepares for first comeback in 16 years.

Sechs Kies members Eun Ji Won, Lee Jae Jin, Kim Jae Duk, Kang Sung Hoon, and Jang Su Won have all signed with YG Entertainment.

On May 11, YG Entertainment announced that the members except Go Ji Young, who has become a businessman, have signed a contract that will allow them to potentially hold performances and release albums.

The group debuted in 1997 and had numerous hit songs including “Chilvalry,” “Couple,” and more. After disbanding in 2000, the group reunited and performed for the first time after 16 years through “Infinite Challenge.”

After their reunion episode on “Infinite Challenge,” the group had a past song rise to 14th place on KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank.” Following the great interest in the group, it appears as though we’ll be seeing more of them now that they are with YG Entertainment.

I was a fan for a few months before they disbanded... couple of years ago I would be so excited for this. My time with them is truly over now but I wish nothing but the best for them. Get some money oppas, God knows y'all need it... except for Jiyong.

I know their popularity revved back up with IC and all, but I wonder if YG's wife (Jae Jin's sister) did any kind of persuading as well. Hmm. But yay for their (hopeful) comeback! They put out some good music back in the day.

I for one am very excited for this. I've liked Jiwon since 1n2d and I never thought I'd see Sechs Kies reunited. They're definitely my favourite 1st gen group. I'm a little surprised at how bitter some people are though tbh.

It's beyond me why everyone's going to YG lately when everyone under YG is complaining about being in YG.

Their guerrilla concert thing on Infinity Challenge was so good tho I got teary eyed and I didn't even know who they wore before that... I hope they get to release something their main vocal is quite good.
