One of the top 10 best days of my life tbqh

Like fans were on level 100 for support and excitement and SHINee--despite obviously being super tired--gave as good as they got. Like I knew that the boys were generally just good performers who always do their best but they were honestly way better than I imagined. And they were just so fun and goofy and happy to interact with the fans. You could also tell that they were genuinely surprised at how many people were there and how hype everyone was. I could literally wax poetic about it because I've been a fan since pre-debut and I honestly never imagined myself seeing them in real life and I'm still in a ridiculously emotional place about it. I didn't think I would cry but my friends and I were literally messes at the end it was ridiculous.

I mean there were some issues but it was a really great time. Fans showed up and showed out (some woman was driving by while we were in line and pulled over just to be like "okay wtf is happening here this is insane) and it was such a crazy diverse crowd it was amazing.

Such an amazing opportunity. I've been a Shawol for seven years and this absolutely made my life. I can't believe I cried as hard as I did...crying is an understatement actually, "bawling" or "wailing" or "sobbed uncontrollably for twenty five minutes and my friends were concerned that they'd have to remove me from the venue" is more accurate.

The boys are SO cute, sweet, and humble. The night was perfect and I really hope that this encourages them to come back and do more of these events!!

I went to the shitshow Hallyu North expo that SHINee attended and that took place in Toronto one day before this. The organization of the event was a mess! I am embarassed and hope that SHINee didn't get a negative first impression of Toronto/Canadian fans.

Still got to see Minho's fine ass up close though.

Every Shawols across the world were drowned in jealously over the fan report of Chicago fanmeets T______T.
Judging by the fancams, I can tell that this was one of SHINee's best fan meeting event ever... like they didn't even let the fans joining the games at SHINee's Japan or China's fanmeeting... ToT

Also forever treasured Jonghyun's Jurassic Park charade ~ so precious!

And that 70 y.o grandma in Minho's team is like the best Shawol ever!

I'm so happy I went! There was never a doubt in my mind that I wouldn't go (thanks in large part to blue_ant convincing me to go to Teen Top in April...I would never have gone to a kpop anything if she hadn't convinced me to pop my kpop concert cherry, so to speak).

It was amazing! The fact that it was a venue full of Shawols who all love SHINee was like the cherry on top too.

I was driving to work this morning, getting choked up thinking about Sunday. About Taemin asking if they could take a pic with SHINee World, at the end of the fanmeet. My heart was/is so full of SHINee/Shawol love! I'm so happy Shawols were well behaved too.

The look on the boys faces as they looked out on the crowd cheering and fanchanting and singing along; they were touched and we were all a mess of feels lol.

I have never in my life screamed so much, my throat still hurts lol and I am eternally grateful to SubK for organizing the event. The MC was great too. I could talk about the fanmeet for hours lol. It still feels somewhat like a dream..My only regret was not buying any merch (I want a poster to frame dammit), but eh, i realized today I recorded way more of the event than I thought.

We breathed the same air as SHINee ;___; I never thought it would really happen. I gtg ;;__;;

They give it 500% live they are amazing performers. You can tell they were tired but they gave it their all. I'm so happy with how organized and perfect everything was.

Also one of the best parts was meeting everyone there, I met people from tlist for the first time after knowing them for 8 years and I made new friends, it was great.

This. was. amazing. I never ever thought I would see them live and it fucking happened. AND THEY DID MORE SONGS THAN I ANTICIPATED. The crowd was wild. SHINee was everything and they did the most to make this one of the best nights ever for everyone in the crowd. I hope they really do come back <3

I only almost cried twice, y'all. i'm so proud. and i was only a little embarrassing (the person screaming with the red guilty pleasure banner every time jjong spoke may or may not have been me, idk....) during the talks and games and stuff I just kept muttering out loud to myself "they're so cute, they're so cute, omg they're so cute" like i was fucking possessed.

but they were all so adorable and funny, i swear. like everyone mentioned, they were clearly pooped, but they definitely became more energized towards the middle. highlights were definitely key's response to the skin care question and she said tiger!!! and jjong's entire charades performance. he was so cute and energetic and hilarious. and the whole time i was just like why jjong the cutest kid ever? his little sakura hair was so shiny and fluffy. he looked like a fucking peachy angel o(*≧□≦)o
also when they asked what english name the members would take, someone near my section shouted "daddy" for minho and i was like oh.

anyway, key promised several times that they'd be coming back to chicago, so i'm holding you to it key! i mean, if so many people came to support them for a fanmeet, they'd clearly be successful if they were to do a full blown concert. so...do it.

I've been randomly crying ever since they showed up at about 3:45 on Sunday (I might have been part of the crowds that both greeted them when they arrived and left at the Rosemont) because I can't believe that Sunday really happened. I've loved SHINee since they debuted and just...that night was magical. It really was.

I actually made the decision not to go, which was good personally, but I had friends go and I have some regrets. Especially when they told me people were giving out FREE TICKETS. I'm just....just need them to come back before the military.

I'm so happy they got the hype they deserved and fan support was 2000%. Almost everyone who went has been a long time fan, a huge majority have never seen them live so yes. Yes!

I'm sooooo happy I went. I went alone, as usual, but they girls I was next to me were very nice. I'm awkward so I wasn't as chatty as I could've been (sorry!). But I had main floor seats and people were pretty good about not blocking views.

And the even itself was so good! The MC did great and, of course, SHINee was awesome <3 Key had just the amount of sass/playfulness I was expecting lol.

Everything I've seen and all the things I've read about the fanmeet seem amazing and it made me really happy that both the fans and shinee seemed to have a great time there! Shinee are so funny and charming I cry.
I'm so thankful to the person who filmed these fancams ;; (did I spot a Shinyan banner it in the crowd haha). Also I loved the charades bit, Jonghyun miming Iron Man was really cute ^^

oh and I'm pleasantly surprised to see so many older fans there too :D

I've been so sad that I didn't go, the show looked spectacular. I actually had planned to go, but then opted out for familial obligations.
