Uee and Lee Sang Yoon are in a relationship!
On May 2, an entertainment industry representative stated that the two of them started dating early this year after meeting one another at a group meeting. Although they have not been dating for very long, they are said to have a lot of trust in one another.
Last December, the two of them were photographed with linked arms at the Hong Kong Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA), though they were apparently not in a relationship at the time.
A source close to the two of them said, “They enjoy dates and take care of one another like a regular couple. Even celebrities envy them for their model-like looks. Like regular couples, they sometimes argue but it soon passes over.”
On May 3 KST, a Pledis Entertainment representative (Uee’s agency) told OSEN, “The two of them started dating at the beginning of this year and their relationship is progressing well.”
Although Uee debuted in 2009 with the girl group After School, she has been working as an actress for the past few years, recently wrapping up the weekend drama “Marriage Contract.” Lee Sang Yoon has recently been active in working on an upcoming film as well as last year’s tvN drama “Twenty Again.”

Actor Lee Sang Yoon, who has been gaining attention for being in a romantic relationship with After School’s Uee, previously disclosed to fans that he had a girlfriend during a fan meeting back in January of this year.
A Lee Sang Yoon fan Instagram account posted on May 3, “During Lee Sang Yoon’s January 11 fan meeting in Osaka, he revealed that he had a significant other. A fan asked if he had a girlfriend. Lee Sang Yoon was caught off guard at first, but responded ‘I do.’”
Thereafter, Lee Sang Yoon apologized to fans for revealing his relationship status when many believed he was single.
Yesterday, representatives of Lee Sang Yoon and Uee confirmed the couple’s status stating,
“The two met and got to know each other at a gathering earlier this year and started to develop a relationship. They have only been dating for 3-4 months. We wish fans would support their relationship.”

Date: 2016-05-05 04:28 am (UTC)Uee admitting to a relationship can be very out character seeing how much of a driven professional she is and she always made sure to leave her private life private so her career wouldn't be jeopardized especially since she has the idol 'shadow' hovering over her acting career even though she is a freaking talent actress, but at the same time it's not out of character because it means this relationship is very serious and marriage must be in talk, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get news of them getting married soon and Uee taking a small hiatus.
Making a long story short, I'm really happy for my bb and I hope that they'll be happy together, and I'm very happy that Lee Sang Yoon seems to be qiite smitten with her and proud of being her boyfriend, she deserves someone like that after her last relationship.
Now LSY, do me a favor, help her see how terrible pledis is, pretty please!

Date: 2016-05-05 03:58 pm (UTC)please take everything i say with a grain of salt, it's all speculation from chinese fan forums and joo won's own interviews, joo won is a great guy and he wasn't supper terrible to her or anything like that, but he just didn't seem to be ready in a relationship in that stage of his life and to be there for her like she needed. i think that he was too immature to handle being in a relationship with uee while their companies wanted top really hide it, busy with their careers, plus her career as an idol and a sexy icon of some sorts for men really always to him. they even broke up once because of that before going back to dating and then breaking up again.
