KPN: When did you start working on this song?
DK: We started working on it about a month ago. After receiving the track from my friend in Finland, Steve, Jiyeon, and I started working on the melody and lyrics. We finished within a few hours. It was probably one of the easiest sessions we've ever had in our careers. As soon as we started the session, we began humming melodies for the intro section. That's when the title, "Yes or No," came out.

KPN: What did you like about Joonathon's track that made you want to work on it?
DK: It was unique. The tempo had a retro vibe, which isn't a typical Kpop sound. And the EDM elements that rounded the song out gave it a mainstream/pop vibe. The other thing I liked about the song was that the verse was fast paced, but still very danceable. That's not something that's easy to acheive.

KPN: Did you write the song with UP10TION in mind?
DK: Yeah, I've worked with TOP Media before. I wrote a song called, Holic, on UP10TION's previous album. So, they approached me to write another song for them.

KPN: What was your experience like working with such a large group?
DK: With 10 members, I expected their recording to take several days, but we finished recording all the vocals in about 5 hours. Everyone was well trained. One of the members, Wooshin, had a flu, so he wasn't in the best condition to be singing, but we still managed to get solid vocals out of him.

KPN: If you had to describe each of the members in one word, how would you describe them?
DK: Jinhoo - Donald Duck (laughs).
Kuhn - Comedian
Kogyeol - Noble
Wei - Student
Bit-To - Godfather (laughs)
Wooshin - Pretty
Sunyoul - Vocalist — He's one of the best singers I've met in the pop industry. He has a very wide range that can cover both the male range and the female range.
Gyujin - Bulldozer
Hwanhee - Rockstar
Xiao - Innocent

KPN: Who is your favorite member out of the group?
DK: Probably Hwanhee. I like his attitude. He know's how to entertain people and make them feel comfortable.

KPN: Do you think they have what it takes to be a top boy band in Korea?
DK: Sure, what's not to like about them? They got visuals, they got vocals, and their performance is top notch. I think they just need that little bit of luck. Plus, they're really fun to be around. Each member has their own unique personality, and when all 10 members get together, it's like a variety show (laughs).
