after confirmation last week that jonghyun will be making a solo comeback this summer, he hasn't exactly held back on dropping hints about it.

the biggest hint before the confirmation came a few days before the comeback confirmation when jonghyun was kind of beating around the bush in terms of explaining why he'd suddenly dyed his hair. besides this, he had been dropping subtle hints in the weeks beforehand, such as: comments about being busy in the recording studio, how he was basically reviewing base, and also a mention of practicing choreography at sm before a blue night broadcast. during the first broadcast after confirmation, trusty go young bae (of the band soran + also massive shawol) was able to sneak some information out of jonghyun. jonghyun confirmed that his upcoming album will be "different" from his previous. they also "fooled around" in stating that the lyrics on the album will be "as dirty" as the lyrics on base were. (whether or not jjong was actually joking though ..., we'll have to wait and see.)

minus the obvious (ie: artists that are solely soloists like boa, kangta and zhang li yin), this will make jonghyun the second sm idol (who originally debuted from within a group) to release a full lengthed solo album, following taemin's press it.

yep. that's what i'm figuring. i'm guessing that tiffany's teasers are either dropping today or next week. i figure exo will be the week of? dream concert? and jjong around mid-june.

tiffany was just confirmed for a mini release on may 11th so i'm guessing that exo's album is gonna drop the week of dream concert. (probably around june 1st / 2nd) if that speculation is right then jjong's album would probably be released around ... the second to last week of june?

Tho this makes me remember what SHINee said on weekly idol years ago; SHInee is the 'pilot' group, if there's new program, they'll be the first artist SM send. I guess that's the same with solo acts to considering Taemin & Jonghyun started idol solo from SM.

I'm very excited about this being a full album this time. I hope it has a wide variety of genres and great songs.
I also hope he finally gets all the attention he deserves this time. Op 1 and all his collaborations were totally overlooked :/
