INFINITE’s Woohyun to Make Long-Awaited Solo Debut!

After debuting six years ago in 2010, Woohyun will finally be making his solo debut.

On April 6, news outlet Star News revealed that Woohyun will be releasing a solo track in mid-May.

Previously, Woohyun promoted with SHINee’s Key in Toheart as a duo. Other members of INFINITE have either had a solo debut or participated in various unit groups as well.

It has not been revealed yet whether he will be releasing a single or an album. Following his solo promotions, INFINITE will be preparing for their next group album.

I wonder if Soohyun's solo would be well-received in korea. U-kiss is a veteran group now but they probably will never hit it big there for reasons that escape me. Soohyun's voice is perfect for ballads and SK loves dem ballads, but I wouldn't be surprised if they snob him just like they usually do with U-kiss. If he scored an OST for Descendants of The Sun or King of Mask, or any show with a lot of public coverage, he would get a lot of recognition that way. I bet most of the public wouldn't know who U-kiss are, so he could a lot of positive attention without dragging people's dislike of U-kiss.

Op, you beat me to it! I wanted to wait for eventually the Irene being homophobic post to be approved first, so that Woohyun's solo annoucement wouldn't be completely overlooked, but heh, not only was in not reposted on omona, but i also ended up not getting to post bout Woohyun. :,)

Oh trust me, I would never not post about such a big news, especially if it comes to this dumbass. hahaha

I figured I wasn't in a hurry cause there aren't that many people making posts in our fandom, and nobody did a post about Woohyun's acting role. Btw, I'm telling you now, that I have already made the post last month but I did not submit it until now cause it was announced when I was busy promoting Hoya's movie. So I'm asking you to, please, not make the post. I'll post it in a few days, I promise! haha

I had already prepared the solo post (I spent hours looking for the perfect picture, I just couldn't decide cause he looks presh all the time lmao not that i mind staring at his face all day *coughs*). I just really wanted to wait for the op to repost their post about Irene's scandal (it's on ontd) on omona (which they didn't, which doesn't make any sense cause why on ontd but not on omona, their primary audience LOL), so that people still see the solo annoucement, before they go settle in the Irene post. That's usually how it goes. If your post is below a scandal post, no one will pay attention to it. OTL

People aren't exactly fighting to be the first one to post in our small fandom, so I have a couple of months old posts on the ready (that i'm sure nobody even care about), but just waiting for the right moment to fork them out.
