IMO his rap sounds much better when you're not watching the MV lol, I think the cringey hep hap feel he's going for i nthe MV ruins it. I hate the rap in the MV but it doesn't bother me live or when i listen to the song.

He left the group and JYPE. Allegedly was dating a fan and got caught and shit storm ensued. I'm sure there was a post on it here if you're interested. Nothing was ever truly confirmed but it was a mess; there were a lot of kans that were out for blood.

JYPE don't really have a dating ban though they do discourage their idols from dating during the first three years of debut. Plus DAY6 aren't really marketed as idols (even though the fandom culture is def similar to idol groups) so idk if the same rules applied.

But yeah he should have been smarter about it, esp when it involves fans. The supposed girlfriend came out and said they were just friends but the damage had already been done. There were a lot of question marks surrounding that situation. I'm not saying he's completely innocent but the treatment he received after the news broke out was yikes :/

Anyway sorry for the word vomit! Heh. You should check out their second mini if you haven't! It topped the first one for me which was not easy to do considering the first was really good.
