'SPICA's new album after a 3 year 5 month hiatus; once again collecting members' self-composed tracks'

5-member girl group SPICA's long-awaited new album will once again be collecting self-composed tracks.

SPICA's spokesperson revealed to Star News: "SPICA is now planning to release a mini album in late April or early May as a full group of five."

SPICA's late April comeback is the first time they've released news of a mini album since their last mini album 'Lonely' 3 years and 5 months ago. After 'Lonely', SPICA released several singles and OSTs, but had never announced plans for a new mini album, making fans anticipate this comeback even more.

SPICA's upcoming mini album will include the members' self-composed tracks, including Kim Boa and Kim Bohyung. SPICA's spokesperson said: "SPICA has been in the process of collecting songs recently. Although the title track has not yet been decided, the album will contain songs written and composed by the members."

The album will not only have new songs but also include the members' own tracks, increasing the anticipation.

the article title is quite misleading since it's not an actual hiatus, just the period since their last mini album.. but all the same, I've been frustrated that they kept releasing digital singles while at B2M. I hope after this mini album they'll actually release a full album 😢🙏

haha no the article title was rather misleading..! it's 3.5 years since their last mini (they mentioned it in the article itself) but their last comeback as a group of 5 was in 2014 with You Don't Love Me, so it's been pretty long regardless :( (last round of promos was Spica.S)
