i was soo taken aback when i heard seulgi's cover. i know she has a great voice but that was something else entirely wow. wendy sounds amazing, naturally, and so did joy, her voice is so sweet. she said that is the song that got her into red velvet, so it's special to her.
thank god they went here, it would have been a missed opportunity if not. next time, let yeri and irene sing too, especially yeri. idk why they're using her so little

i think yeri's voice needs to mature more tbh. but sm obviously see potential in her, i think she's improving all the time as well.

wendy has so much power in her voice, she's great. she makes hitting those notes look so easy? i haven't heard seulgi sing in that range before, wow. joy's tone is so lovely, idk if she's shaky bc she's nervous or her breathing technique is not that good so she's struggling to hold the notes? she has so much potential though, i love how the vocal line have such distinctive voices/tones.

The way Seulgi's voice thins towards the higher points of the song makes the song she sings so much more emotional. I kind of feel my heart breaking whenever she sings her high notes. ;;u;; Makes me want to think that being marketed as "The Next Taeyeon" predebut was not a long shot.

Joy's voice is also such a treat. It's so sweet and melodious, though shaky at times, but she's improving. She's actually much better now than before.

Wendy is amazing, as always. From such a tiny little body comes a voice as strong as hers. I feel so untalented.;;3;;

Irene's deep voice! I hope they make her and Yeri sing more in their next songs because I love Irene's deeper register, and I want to find out where Yeri is in the Red Velvet voice spectrum. Maybe this is why I like Red Velvet so much, their voices are so unique and serves different functions in the songs they are singing, that if another member were supposed to sing their line, it wouldn't quite sound, feel or be the same.
