[TRANS] @hotsootuff The meaning of beaming effect is "according to special theory of relativity, this phenomena is when a light-emitting entity like a star approaches Earth, the starlight becomes bright and when the entity becomes far away from Earth, it becomes dark". In this metaphor, the "light-emitting entity" are donors and "Earth" is people with sight disabilities. If donors reach out a hand and approach people with sight disabilities, the world becomes brighter for people with sight disabilities, and if their attention is turned off and they keep a distance, the world will become darker for people with sight disabilities. It's a scientific term used to express this story metaphorically. ✨ Last year, this event was run with sales of personal items from myself and celebrities.
