Ten's interview
Introduce yourself: I’m SMROOKIES Ten. I love basketball and any kind of water sport like surf, wake-board, snowboard and even swimming. I also like trekking and hiking as well. I have a two-sided profile, i work had but I also play hard. My hobby is drawing.
Best think to be proud of: I think my dancing skills is the best of me. I started to learn it when I was 13. I wached the movie ‘Step up 2′ and immediately signed to a dancing class. Since then I focused on dancing but 1-2 years later I started to learn how to sing.
Inspiration to become an idol: When I was 14 years old, I went to a Super Junior concert. At that time, ‘Sorry Sorry’ was a big hit but I didn’t know much about k-pop yet. I already really liked dancing and singing so after watching them perform and seeing their fans love. I really wanted to become like them.
Best thing about being part of SMROOKIES: I learned a lot. The first thing was another culture. When I was little, I studied at a international school so I had a chance to know a variety of cultures and traditions but living in Korea alone is different because it takes more responsability so I get to know more about my true self. *Did you have to adapt to many things because of the difference of cultures?* I think that the thing that is obvious but really different to me is the language and the culture because it was my first time there. I had no idea what everybody was saying. While talking to my friends, it was a little awkward because korean and thai grammars are different. I was so confused but my friends helped me with both of it.
The stricter rule in SMROOKIES: It isn’t like a official rule, but a rule I made for myself. I diet and have nutrition control. I practiced hard but I need to now what is my limit. *What about rules for using social media?* There are some.
Artists that I’d like to work with: Henry of SUPER JUNIOR-M. When I first got to the company, Henry was the first one who greeted me in Thai. I felt relieved because maybe he could teach me a lof of things since he’s foreigner like me.
Reason why you win fans’ heart: Dancing.
Thing you like to tell a friend but never got the chance: To Doyoung. I’d like to tell him I’ll take care of him better in the future.
2016 goal: Make the best SMROOKIES Show.
