I think their different personalities and in some way their looks too has helped a lot to their popularity. Yeah, all groups have members with different personalities, but in Twice case is more obvious than the usual. In fact, I think JYPE is good at doing this with their groups. A lot of people end up "feeling" close to one of them and because they all seem to get along is easy to make them a fan of the whole group.
And I like that Mina is quiet too, there is people that appreciate it, not everyone has to be talkative on camera to enjoy theim as a fan. Mark has always been one of the most popular members of GOT7 and he didn't talk much or at all in the beginning xD
