He's on a sub label so YG won't meddle with his music but he'll still have access to YG's $$$ and other resources, and YG can promote him in a way that amoeba culture couldn't.

Oh yeah I agree, but I also think part of it is just the choice of music the guys make. Jay still makes a lot of television appearances he just skips music shows and stuff like that. He could surely do more if all of his music wasn't like 19+ too. I more meant it was weird because Zion has his VV:D crew that he's still really close to, and Gray, Elo, and Loco are all on AOMG so I assumed he'd travel with his friends.

The connections are a big part though I think you're right! And being on YG offers you a lot of privileges and such too. I think it's a good business move don't get me wrong! I just was surprised he didn't try to reunite the crew, and it makes me curious what Crush will do when his contract goes up likely next year.

Yeah I suspected he might leave Amoeba Culture because of all the drama that went on while he was still there, but I figured that with all his connections to AOMG including his crew being there and Simon D being there that he would follow them.

Zion is also good friends with Tablo and Taeyang as well, I dunno how good his relationship with GD is but since they worked together I'm gonna assume they at least get along haha. It makes sense for him I think! There's a lot things he can do with the YG name and budget behind him.

Maybe Crush might go to AOMG. But that's still a ways off, right? Maybe a year more of him being at Amoeba.

I think it makes sense as well and Teddy and Kush are both behind the scenes guys so I imagine it'd be a lot more focused there for someone like him. And you are right he doesn't release an album or music constantly so I don't think anything will really change. I think features may stay the same as well, lol. We'll see.

Yeah I would assume he got a similar contract to Zion, so his contract should come to an end sometime next year. I don't know if I see Crush going to AOMG though because last year was a big year for him too. I could see him moving to a bigger label that would provide him with the money, or AC offering him a deal he can't refuse.

Yeah I mean if he's the first artist on Teddy and Kush's label I have to imagine they'll want to do something for him so you can say like "Hey this is the sublabel, this is what we're doing!" Hopefully it works out for him, I love his voice and I would be super depressed if he sat in the YG Basement.

i was reading some of the articles and it mentioned something about him being with amoeba for three years? and i know he signed in the summer of 2014 so i'm guessing a two year contact (with that extra year added on for the korean year system)? i think crush signed around the same time so i could see him going with him too, but it probably depends. i bet amoeba's trying to hold on to him pretty hard after this, lol

Zion.T signed with AC originally in the summer of 2011 which would be a five year contract which sounds about right. 4-5 years is a pretty common contract point for entertainers.

Crush signed in 2014 though I believe, but it's likely he signed a similar contract (I coulda sworn crush signed in 2012 or 2013 but I looked it up and it looks like 2014.) So if it's 2014 then we won't likely see anything until 2019? Unless he tries to escape his contract, or he got a shorter contract which of course is possible.

I don't think there will be much of a difference with his releases. I remember Teddy being annoyed by YG's delaying of everything so he probably won't allow that to happen. Zion.T and Kush are close friends so I can see why he sauntered on over there, lol.
