There are several korean names that are bisyllabic, such as jegal (which is zhuge in chinese) and dokgo, and namgoong is one of them. koreans usually give their children bisyllabic first names to make it trisyllabic but with families with bisyllabic last names i've seen them with monosyllabic first name to make it three.
at first i didnt want a hyomin solo bc i wanted soyeon or jiyeon but hyomin also seems like the only one really interested in music, this seems like a passion project so im glad shes getting to do what she wants to do

And I think a lot of sites and people seperate his name every syllable so it must be confusing. I think I've done that too.
