If they actually cb this probably means no Amurrica for CL, like it's one or another at this point.
I mean, CL would already have album out if they were serious about her US debut...
And even if she will finally pop out that record she deff would not have time to go back to Korea for 2ne1, like you can not debut in US and not comitt fully, other way it doesn't make sense, it's waste of money and your own image.

idk, I feel like Bom's still pretty solidly in the group since her appearance with the rest of 2NE1 at MAMA. They could have very easily performed without her but to me it seems like they deliberately included her for a reason; I think if YG was that worried about her having a negative impact on the group he would have dropped her a long time ago.

I don't really get what their strategy for her debut is; they've been trying to build buzz by getting her collabs with Skrillex et al and having her at NYFW and festivals and stuff but I don't think that's translated to her actually being on the general American public's radar (plus the songs she's put out in the US are terrible)

I mean I guess it's better than what JYP did for Wonder Girls but I have no faith in YG's ability to plan or sustain a project for very long

This is a fake account, this person is using MilaJ's name pretending to be a dancer and choreographer and she even had the audacity to claim she's not connected to MilaJ the recording artist. She has several pics of different girls who don't even look alike claiming those to be her own pics and she also used pics of Sofia Boutella's photoshoot as her own pics. I confronted this person asking her to stop spreading lies she blocked me and made her acc private brainwashing flopjacks pretending to be someone with inside knowledge. She also pretended to have been in Good Boy or Ringa Linga (I forgot).

Why is this a post and why people continuously try to quote this person as a source when it's been said repeatedly it's a fake acc is beyond me.

ok first off this account is clearly fake lol, dancers sign NDAs, they can't and shouldn't just leak info

IMO (don't flame me y'all!) 2NE1 will do a final album either by the end of this year or early next and a last tour then go their separate ways. I really don't see them continuing on, it's obvious YG's focus is CL or the next girl group (whenever he decides to pay attention to them). I think CL really wants this America thing to happen and IF that's her focus, then a final 2NE1 thing makes sense for the end of the year so she can move on.
They haven't renewed their contract either iirc?
To clarify this is not because EYE want them over, or because EYE dislike any one of them specifically or want CL to drop them or any other random bullshit but just from what it looks like to an outside observer.
If they do continue they'll mostly do individual stuff with the occasional major tour every few years or so.
They've already been in the game for so long, I wouldn't be surprised if they decided they wanted to do new things. Honestly tho if CL flops really hard then I guess 2NE1 will carry on but I doubt it. I think she'll just go solo in Korea instead.

YG's trying to make CL happen in America, Dara's got another role in the company in addition to doing more CFs/acting, Minzy's tired of being in the basement and Bom probably doesn't want to be in the public eye anymore if everyone still hates her (which, knowing salty-ass netizens who can never let anything go, they probably do.) It really sucks for Bom especially because singing is basically all she wants to do but idt Korea will let her have a career there.
