Wonder what this means for Day6 logistically. Will they continue as 5 and just cover Junhyeok's parts or find a new keyboardist? Your move, JYPE. Give us something other than a 4 sentence long statement please.

I'm with you, Jongup, lol. I really hate that they're going to just try to gloss over this, instead of addressing the he said she said so it doesn't get worse. Still, I understand that things must and have to move forward.

they should just add a new member, d6 is still new and they haven't really debuted on a music show, and i'm p sure they have trainees that probably would have never seen the light of day

The company made auditions like a couple of days ago. For day6 that could mean they didn't have much more idols to even add one to a group (they are supposed to be for new groups) or that one of the news could be added. I guess in this case is more difficult because it has to be a keyboardist specifically and I'm not sure how much are the probabilities of already having one waiting in the basement to be debuted as a band, not an idol group.

the fact that there was so many things happening in backstage and they explaining so little to the fans regarding the whole issue, I think makes people feel uneasy =/

Till things are cleared, pretty sure the mood will be weird.

It's kind of annoying how they usually ignore the scandals U_U At some point I get it because whatever was the reality not everyone is going to be happy, but this way of dealing with things is frustrating.
I still wish day6 the best and I hope this makes the grow and learn more than keeping them down :(

I want them to remain as 5 tbh - I love their dynamic and throwing in a new member is gonna create unnecessary drama with annoying fans with them probably saying stuff like ~~he can't replace Junhyeok!!!

But I'm glad they're going ahead with the concert actually, I hope the fans who are going will be extra supportive of them.

Normally I'd say go ahead as 5, but Day6 is a band. There's no getting around needing a keyboardist for all their current songs.
They could just hire someone but that will feel a little awkward. "Thank you Hondae! We are Day6! (And also Steve over there)".
But on the other hand, unless they gonna steal Yeeun from the Wonder girls, who has talented rock keyboardist just lying around in their trainee pool?
At this point I'm just hoping JYPE tightens up a bit and really focuses on making day6 a success. I don't want this to derail a great, promising group.

They already have another keyboardist: Wonpil. Junhyeok and him shared roles, so he is probably going to take the remaining chunk and the vocal part are going to be divided.

IA. I've always thought Wonpil and junhyeok's role tend to overlap. The biggest reason Dowoon was added was because they needed a drummer. Before this Junhyeok was playing that box drum. Therefore the only occasion for them to take in a new member is if they lost Dowoon, their only drummer. I think if it's any other instrument, the other members are most likely more than capable to absorb.
