I'm enjoying this so far, even though it's just the first two episodes. Joong-ki has me swooning left and right. I've resigned myself to the fate of swooning over him for the next two months. The cinematography is really great. And at least with it completed already means the script won't change based on feedback... I hope.

I'm not sold on the plot, there's not much going on there. To me, it's one of those dramas that move really fast so you feel like a lot is happening, but take a step back... And... Nothing. But wow it's such a feast for the eyes. Gorgeous actors and wonderful cinematography

this is a drama i'll be watching for the pretty and not the story development, and that's okay because SONG. JOONG. KI. IS BACK!

this drama is so cheesy (?) the dialogues..... the slow motion takes.... the music..... not to mention the whole plot and situations created. at first I thought some flirting was cute, but, after a few scenes, everything was so OTT. lol

Song Soongki has been giving me heart palpitations since I saw that teaser pic of him in the uniform and aviators.

I don't mind cheesy, and Joongki just makes the flirting adorable. I agree, I feel like the music cue is a little unnecessary.

i actually prefer the male main's friend to the main, i'm kind of in love with him lol

song hye gyo is the female main right? i like her acting

jinki doesn't seems to be the worst actor in the drama, I'm proud <3

tbh i dont think sjk is that good, most of the time i can tell what he is trying to convey but it is not convincing, like his reaction/expressions dont fit what he is saying

I'm positively surprised, but I didn't expect much since Kim Eun Sook is writing it.
The break-up seemed realistic and Shi Jin's acceptance of the fact makes me love the character more.
That said, episode 2 seemed to lack a plot most of the time.. And I'm sad that we already have two adult women hair-pulling each other instead of talking about their issues.
I guess I'll watch next week and then decide if it's worth the time or not.

So far the main couple look hot together and I ship it.


But knowing the writer, I don't know for how long I'll ship it.

The friend is more attractive to me bc I've never been into SJK. But that ~hopeful~ helicopter scene kinda made me swoon. Surprisingly, I really like the chemistry between SJK & SHK, their characters seem to be equally strong.

But not really digging the sudden change in ep. 2 (even if it's necessary for the plot development, a bit too forced for me).

There might not be much plot but I've watched dramas with less story line than this so I'm all for hours and hours of 'WTF when did he get so smoking hot?' SJK and for ridiculously beautiful SHG and for more bromance. ALL THE BROMANCE.

I liked the relationship development between the main couple - it feels like two adults starting something. They're not childish enough to pull each others' pigtails or act like naive virgins (even virgins don't act like that).

I didn't love the childish rivalry between the female doctors. The writer's female but she staged a fight between two highly educated women as a petty hair-pulling squabble that feels ridiculous and trivial in comparison to the rivalries between the male soldiers.

Also SHG's character ending it because SJK is a soldier... but she was mooning over his X-ray, disregarding the idea that he could be a spy, as suggested by her doctor buddy in the wheelchair. It felt kind of weak to me - I'd believe it a little more if she brought up how he's never really around and as a doctor she only has a finite amt of time to share on dates in the first place.

Yeah now that I've had a second to think about it, there are still some flaws with the drama. But...

It's okay, not much going on yet. I like Jin Goo and SJK is fun in this role, though the writer could hold back on some of his arrogance.

I was really annoyed when Kim Jiwon's character decided to pull military rank on her ex Jingu. It was highly unprofessional and exactly the kind of controlling abusive behavior the writer is known for.

The music was completely over the top and misplaced. They should have just used the instrumental versions. Like these people just met I don't want to hear about love.

Those were my two major complaints, the rest was pretty good. I like that the main couple were so direct about showing interest in each other.

i feel like i kinda set myself up to enjoy this drama bc with the track record the team has my expetations were as low as it can get
it's not a perfect drama, probably not even an objetively good one but imma keep watching bc the cinematography is gorgeous and so are all the leads (+ song joongki is finally back)

(it's best to mute romantic scenes tho bc the music will let you know it's ~*~ROMANTIC YOU GUYS~*~ by hitting you over the head with that loud ass "iiiiiii loooooove youuuu" song. they've only just met... chill)

song jong ki is very easy on the eyes and so does song hye gyo.

there's nothing really going on in the story, judging from the pilot this is just another typical kim eun sook love story with war as the plot device.
I can feel that it will be such a waste of my time for this drama buuut I just cant deny teh pretty!
I'm not a fan of SJK before the army but boy does his hotness triple a thousand post the army or something??
