I have Mizon Skin Barrier Serum, it's a gel on lighter side but not really. Basically you use it after lighter products and before thicker ones? I use mine after toner, essence, all in one ampoule, antiredness solution and before eye cream and moisturiser. Order in routine is based on product funcionality and cosistency. Some serums go even before toner, some are last step primers for make up :)

I just got the hyaluronic acid from mizon as well! I use it after my toner by before serum. Generally you use products thin to thick so it really depends on what you use. I loooooove the hyaluronic acid it makes my skin so soft

I have a soft spot for printed sheet masks and the promo ones with celebs' face on packaging. It doesn't help I am a sheet mask hoarder and I am worried I won't get to use them all before they expire...
I am running out of Naruko night gelly aka best sleeping pack ever and sadly seems like I am too broke to buy a new one :( nothing compares to that magic in dark pink jar. It seals everything you put on your face perfectly and acts like a booster, absorbs fast too and doesn't rub on your pillow. There's a difference when I use it to nights I don't? Naruko is a taiwanese brand tho. I have a similar sleeping pack from Mediheal but it just doesn't compare :(

omg i have the naruko tea tree night jelly and it's my current holy grail. it really works miracles on my oily skin! it's the ONE product that consistently has immediate visible effect in the morning! might buy the pink one for when my skin feels a bit dry.

I've been using Cosrx's stuff and I just got their blackhead power liquid in the mail. I tried the samples I got and really liked it so I went ahead and got the full size. can anyone recommend me a good vitamin c serum though! mine is running out and idt I wanna repurchase since I sadly didn't notice much change in my skin :(

to stay on topic, anyone tried moonshot's perfection balm? the demo video I saw on instagram looked really cool but they're so pricy and they don't stock them at the Sephora here so idk if I wanna commit to it.

I just got the blackhead power liquid too! Crossing my fingers that it works as I've been told. I also use the a-sol which helped my blackheads for a while but it isn't working as well now. I think I have too much in my routine, but I need it all bc the winter is so dry 😩 it doesn't smell as chemically as the a-sol tho which is nice

Oh and vit C. I haven't really used a straight up vitamin c serum before but I have used things heavy in vitamin c lol. I really like the isoi Rose serum. Rose has a lot of vit c and is great for calming. And then of course ppl love the OST serum but I haven't used it personally so idk

the ole henriksen pure truth vitamin c oil is no joke. it's super pricey, but maybe you can get samples from sephora?
it can give you blackheads (orangeheads actually), but... it does so many wonders to my skin, i'll probably repurchase forever/until i don't find another product with only (!) the same ingredients. it has no filler ingredients, just awesomeness. i do have to exfoliate weekly so that i wouldn't get blackheads (i don't like to exfoliate at all tbh...)

i did try the body shop's vitamin c serum, but idk, it felt as if they just put ascorbic acid in water...? i mean it sorta worked, but it didn't feel good.

i do use something that is called rosehip oil from my drugstore, just so that i wouldn't run out of ole henriksen that quick, but it has all those additives that i'm not too happy about. it does have vitamin c, though.

i haven't tried anything moonshot yet...

I have the blackhead liquid as well, and I guess it's working fine? It might have cleared up some of my acne scarring, but I'm not sure. I really should take before and after photos. I haven't upped to using it everyday because it will break out my skin so it can get used to the formula, and I just wanna skip that process, lmao.

I've been adding so much to my routine bc my skin is sooooooo dry this winter. I just moved from California to NYC and I'm not used to my skin being dry but oily during the day. I'm usually always oily.

Here's my current night routine:
1) atrue cleansing water
2) re:cipe slowganic cleanser
3) thayers witch hazel toner
4) cosrx a-sol
5) cosrx blackhead power liquid
6) missha first treatment essence
7) aveda green science toner
8) mizon hyaluronic acid
9) be the skin pore serum
10) innisfree green tea balancing emulsion
11) cremorlab shadow off eye cream
12) either my soap for sinners rose serum oil or sw basics serum oil
13) sw basics shea butter cream

This is so much but it's the only way I've been able to combat the dryness :(

And then in the morning I use my Glossier jelly cleanser (looooove it) instead of slowganic and the Skyn Iceland cloud 9 cream (also amazing)

does anyone use moonshot? any recs?

i got my first peripera lip ink tint whatever liquid thing a few weeks back, i'm super late. i love it. the wrap thin genre is not for me, but the regular tint look i just love.
also the obligatory i love saem rant from me: i knew i liked their stuff, their pot concealer i've been using for years now. i just got their tip concealer... best color match for me in my life thus far, and i've tried a lot of different stuff. urban decay or estee lauder and plenty of others has better formulas, but the color! finally.
what else...

whoever recommended me hada labo -- i haven't tried it yet, on my saem hydra power ha drops still, but the package is here, waiting for my other ha product to run out, and then... thanks for the recommendation again.

I use the Jellypots, and I really really like them! They're multi-use, but I mainly use them as eyeshadow.

Not Korean beauty; but I've been obsessed with liquid lipsticks lately. At the moment I own 4 from Stila and Colourpop (8, if you include the NYX soft matte creams) and I'm worried that they're going to dry out before I can use them up. I also bought Hudabeauty lashes and they upgrade your eyes from zero to hero in a second. Now, I want Lilly Ghalichi's lashes and an intense highlighter from Becca.

I've come to realise I don't like drugstore foundations, those youtubers with their drugstore challenges can go and fuck themselves. If you're a poc in Europe, it's impossible to find a foundation in the drugstore, which matches your skin tone/under tone. Mascaras from the drugstore smell like shit anyway.

as for kbeauty, I've recently ordered the innisfree flower water tint, chosungah dual lip tint, and peri lip ink! I've been on a kick for tints lately, and i want to try a legit tint. i've only tried the peripera water tint & berrisom tint and liked those a lot. hopefully the rest are nice too!.


does anyone have recommendations for nice moisturizing eye creams with retinol/retinoids? I'm going to finish my shiseido one and want to try something new =]

I can only speak on my experience for the the original formulation but for me, it made my skin softer and products to absorb much better after application. the tone of my skin became brighter and clearer. when i stopped using it, my skin wasn't as soft and smooth as before. ymmv.

Literally just bought two jelly pots from the site. I've been thinking about it for a long time, their posts on Instagram with them just applying it to an eyelid made me want to get it even tho I usually go for matte, earthy colors. The only palette I really use right now is my Urban Decay one from the Great and Powerful Oz lol the one with Mila's character. And I only use the browns.

But anyway I got the manhendling (lol) and stone pillow colors. I'm really excited actually I can't wait for them to come to me. Congrats OP you inspired me to finally make the purchase by bringing the brand back to the top of my mind
