Kind of OT but at the same time not because is about Twice:
I usually don't get too much into fandoms, but I'm starting to do it for Twice and I think this is not for me. The stans and the haters are too much. I guess this comes with their fast popularity but seeing all the people go crazy for the dumbest thing and the fans attacking other groups just because is driving me crazy. Can I just be a realist for one second? I don't think I know anyone who hasn't listened to a song illegally, whether they downloaded it or they listened to it on youtube before the copyright police got to it. (just copypasting this from a comment i posted earlier lol:) i don't know any official kpop soundcloud accounts. i doubt taeyeon/sm would have one. most official stuff posted on soundcloud is by indie artists, mixtapes/bsides from big names. so if taeyeon's rain was on soundcloud, it was probably illegally downloaded/uploaded by someone who is not the actual owner of the song. that's why it's bad. it's technically not pirating anything, but streaming that there is still ripping artists off.
