Girl group Ladies’ Code will be appearing on an extremely limited number of variety shows after making their comeback.

The now three-member group is set to return on February 24 with their new single “Myst3ry.” They have not promoted since releasing the single “Kiss Kiss” in 2014 and shortly after experiencing the tragic passing of members EunB and RiSe.

According to reports, Ladies’ Code is planning to limit their variety show activities as much as possible, especially as this will mark their first comeback since the fatal car accident that took the lives of their fellow members. They hope to avoid any misunderstandings that might arise after variety show appearances, and thus plan to be highly selective about them.

The trio is expected to focus on music with this comeback.

This is totally understandable and I think, for the best. I was dreading them being on shows and being asked about everything that happened over and over again, so I'm glad music is their focus. I think it'll be good for them to perform again.

I wish them the best of luck and I can't wait for them to come back!

I expected this and yeah, for the best imo. while their image is a concern, I think they're probably equally concerned with not putting the members through the emotional stress of having to talk about it, especially not on their own terms. I think most hosts would be respectful but you know that there are certain shows/hosts that would intentionally push the line.

I'm honestly so impressed by their company for the entire way they've delicately been handled.

Sorry, /s is to denote sarcasm. I just meant that the hosts, and other people on the shows, will claim it has been long enough for them to have ~ gotten over it, and assume its okay it be insensitive assholes for ratings, as you said. (I am also a bit bitter on the topic, as my mom passed away less than a year ago, and not even a month after it happened people were acting as if I should be ~over it by now.)

I continue to be impressed by how delicate Polaris is in regards to them.

It's for the best, I'm relieved that they're going slowly for their first comeback. If things go on well this time, they'll go on more variety shows, no need to rush.

A bit OT, but I've pre-ordered Myst3ry! I don't know when it will arrive in my mailbox but I'm so happy I'll have it in my hands!

this makes me happy, I've wondered how they were gonna go about with album promos but I'm glad they're pushing their music to the forefront with this comeback. I feel like everyone's going to be really critical of them on shows (not necessarily negatively...just overanalyzing their actions) and expect them to act a certain way so this is a great decision by Polaris/the group.

Variety shows like Immortal Song 2, King of Mask Singer etc. basically any shows that wouldn't need any kind of interview would be the best for them

I'm really glad they're doing this not only because the girls shouldn't be on so many shows that could potentially bring up the accident, but the poor girls are probably terrified of busy schedules that could lead to them rushing between locations. I wouldn't be surprised at all if their schedules are sparse to avoid that.

I am glad they are making this choice. Variety hosts are absolute shit and you know they would try and get these girls to cry for ratings.
