I've basically had these on repeat ever since the stream ended this morning. I really love both Catch Me & MoMoMo (which is catchy as hell) and the choreo (https://youtu.be/67icalrZMdM) is just amazing with all 12 of them (ChengXiao's flip was just something else though)
This also helped me finally decide on my bias list (Yeoreum, MeiQi & Eunseo)
I'm loving Catch Me. I had to listen the song two times because the first time my brain was focusing so much on the girls dancing that at the end I didn't remember nothing about the song. THAT CHOREOGRAPHY!!! I guess MoMoMo is more safe as a title track, and I liked the dance too. Wait a minute! aren't they from Starship? How they get this choreo and Sistar is stuck with shaking their butts?!
They are 12 girls but only one rapper? lol No complaints, but it called my attention.
Momomo is a nice catchy track, it's public friendly too. I think they can do well with it. Catch Me omg. It's amazing, I love it. I wish girls groups could get recognition with fierce songs right away but... anyway, as long as they keep this song important in b-sides I'll follow them, there's potential
I really, REALLY like Catch Me & Momomo but know I am unwilling to learn 12 new people for one group (not to mention, how is line distribution ever going to approach balanced?). I get 12 member for the cosmic/zodiac theme as a concept but did they really, truly need more than 5 - 7?
Catch Me >Momomo Catch Me sounded cool and the dancing was really good too. Happy to see that with a girl group since most of the dancing can be a miss for me. Momomo...not really feeling it. Maybe once the video comes out and I can here a studio verison of the song I might like it. Maybe.
Okay so MoMoMo is garbagé but my wig was SNATCHEDt by everything else! I am always here for sexy/sassy girl groups that make bangers and have amazing choreo!!! I'm ready to stan! And the rapper doesn't suck! Bihhhhh i lived
I think they are being very smart, most girl groups go only for cute concept or sexy from start, they are gonna try for both fierce and cute, we all know that girls can be sexy anytime they want but honestly, I can't picture many girl groups being fierce, unless is 2n1, 4minute, exid and F(x) (Yezi is too, lets but waiting fiestar comeback to see how is gonna be) and that's cause they all have very good rappers with strong atitude. Exy is good, she has a strong presence and the girls are gourgeous with very beautiful voices and they all can dance. I think if they pull this debut right, they gonna get a very good reception from the public.
I loved Catch me and Exy singing solo, momomo not my thing, but got excited with the other 2 videos!
Ok i kind of overwatched all their individual fancams so now i'm even into their title track that i used to dislike a lot lmao. I'm really digging Catch Me and both of their choreos. I'm not sure that i can make fair judgement at this point but i'm really loving their dynamic and little smiles between girls. They look like they really enjoy performing and there is so much energy... I'm impressed. I wasn't even interested in all of them that much but now i'm ready to stan half of the group. Chengxiao wrecked any kind of bias lists i used to have. She is such a good dancer and i'm amazed by her everything to the point of having tunnel vision. Exy has great presence and i'm so here for dance breaks/rap breaks/idk what it was but i loved it.
Tbh I'm surprised by how many people in this post are complaining re: the amount of members in WJSN, isn't Seventeen like thirteen members? They're split up in specific units too, that's the same as WJSN...
