i binge watched the first four episodes last night. fuck yes @ sejeong, she's a down-to-earth angel and sf talented too. i'm sure ppl are gonna be pressed about somi but i don't mind her too much. sohye is sooo bad tbh and the grump in me is side-eyeing how high up she is on this list... but she's cute so i'm conflicted.

looks or charms are the only things you need (in combo w/ like work ethic) to become an idol. you can become an idol by being good at singing or dancing and having innate talent but the only thing you NEED to become an idol are looks/charms. so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

sohye got shitloads of screentime which gave her the chance to endear herself to ppl interested in the show. she showed that she is hardworking and through all her practicing she has already improved. makes complete sense to me that she scored so many votes.

I'm absolutely in love with the independent trainees (no company).

Kim Seokyung is such a great leader and she worked so hard with Risa in a very parallel storyline with the Sejeong / Sohye one but Seokyung didn't get as much spotlight. I'm glad she was able to make such an impressive impact with votes still.

I really, really adore Kang Siwon though :( She speaks so well and is so genuine, and I feel like she really adores everyone there and wants them all to do well. She is always worrying that she's bringing everyone down when really she practices a ridiculous amount... To apply for such a big show when you have no company and to be up for comparison with all these big names must be very scary. All the independents got in! I hope they get picked up after the show (and I hope Kang Siwon goes to Pledis).

I really, really adore Pledis' Park Siyeon. In the visual votes, everyone is saying she's always laughing/smiling and she's so pretty. She has such a bright personality and is just like a little puppy. I hope she can make some incredible leap up to the top 11. She's been training for 7 years now and, if she doesn't debut with this project, Pledis probably won't debut their girl group until late 2017 at the earliest :(

I think the thing that irks me the most about Sohye being so high is that it's not even her dream to become a singer/idol. Sure, she's cute and has improved, but I'm not really impressed by her improvement and still don't want her in the final lineup. She got her exposure and can go make her actress debut instead.

- i was saying that somi would have to commit a murder on live TV in order to drop to #2 so that surprised me

- i'm disappointed that chanmi dropped but i understand why, but i'm hoping her 10 years of bad luck will break, i'm rooting for her
- i want the dia girls to drop it's so absurd that they're on this show when they JUST debuted in an active group
- out of the eliminated girls the only ones who caught my eye were nam sujin (idk, i fell in love with her fancam a bit, she's got magic eyes) and oh han areum (poor chubby cute girls never stand a chance. although she wasn't that great a performer)
- god bless ariyoshi risa. i couldn't bring myself to vote for her to be in the group, but i REALLY want success for her, i want her to become an actress/model and appear in a bunch of food CFs. just picture it.

so so so happy for sejung!!! she completely deserves to be number one. i'm pretty happy with this top 11 lineup right now, except i'd switch out dani with yeunjung and jeon soyeon with park soyeon. that would be awesome, and i don't even mind keeping sohye because i feel like she wouldn't be that detrimental to the group but would add cuteness/personality.

With the massive amount of screen time Sohye keeps getting. I knew she would make it.
I feel like this was a calculated move. There were probably MANY trainees that auditioned for this show. Trainees that trained in dancing and singing. But to choose one that has little to no training and then dedicate a lot of individual screen time to her and highlight her as the Underdog? (Because people love watching underdog grow) ....

I'm gonna have to mirror everyone else's confusion about the DIA members. I find it completely unfair that they're allowed to be a part of this competition in general because their group isn't disbanded/inactive in the same way chanmi's group disbanded. They have a place to go after all this and should they be eliminated (not to mention I really didn't like that dance break in ITNW I thought it completely disrupted the flow of the song) but I feel like it's really unfair for them to be in this competition and not only that, but that they're WINNING. Like those spots could easily be taken by people who are using this as a chance to actually debut in a new group instead of using it for their original group? IDK what I'm saying anymore lol

but if we took out the MBK girls that are in DIA we could add in Yeonjung. Personally, I also really like Yoon Chaekyung from DSP so I'd want her in too or someone else from Pledis lol

as expected somi is suddenly #2 which doesn't quite reflect actual votes lol. i'm not even a fan but her stans vote like crazy for her and jumps in views were obvious... mnet is very dedicated to giving jellyfish the best possible edit and lots of screentime. doesn't make the girls' talents invalid at all but surely skews votes in the direction mnet wants. which again - isn't anything new.
sohye needs to go. enough of this nonsense. she is an actress anyway.
really happy that all pledis girls managed to stay. I adore pinky so it's great to see her being #4 but i hope siyeon rises to top 10. i wasn't even interested in her originally but she can fill literally any position. switching from rapping to main vocalist was impressive, plus she is adorable and so astonishingly talented and well-rounded at such a young age.

sejung is such a queen! i didn't expect yoojung to be #3 and was really nervous even though there was a 0.0000001% that she wouldn't make it. girl looked nervous too. jeon so yeon at #10 and ng sze kai at #17 were a pleasant surprise!

all my 11 are in top 25 but mina's creeping on to my list. i like all the girls without a company and hope they'll get signed after this. couldn't care less about the mbk girls. why are all 3 of them in top 3? dani is so bland.

Switch the MBK and CUBE girls for Park Shiyeon, Kim Chungha, Yoon Chaekyoung and Yoo Yeonjeong and I won't even be mad if Eung Ssi Kai doesn't make the cut. Sejeong deserved first place, I hope she stays there. Also, fuck yes at Pinky making #4. Not center-worthy my ass.

I was expecting Sohye to rank high but damn, girl must be floored haha. When only the 1-11 ranks were left she started crying like she knew there was no way they would call her name now, poor baby. I can't wait to see where she'll go from here, it really could go either way.
