I love conspiracy theories but this is pretty straight-forward imo.
He was spotted weeks ago with 2-3 other exo members working on their visas at the embassy, so it's not like they didn't try. I feel like with visa shit there's really nothing to it, if they say no it's no lol.. It's not really the first time either, Lina's visa was declined for the US many years ago for SMTOWN; and when exo was going overseas to perform somewhere in Asia a few years ago, the promoters forgot to apply for visas for China line members.

These things happen :/ sad for the fans who won't get to see him though, he's a fantastic performer. Hopefully SM will learn and not work with these rookie promoters the next time they wanna do a tour.
