Seventeen will be taking on reality TV.
A new season of MBC Music′s One Fine Day will premiere on February 15 at 6 p.m. KST, starring Seventeen, who recently won the best new artist award at the Seoul Music Awards and is being hailed the most anticipated group of 2016, and the group is expected to show their Avengers-scale survival skills on the show.
MBC Music′s One Fine Day is a reality show that has previously featured SHINee, VIXX, B1A4, Ailee and Amber, AOA, Girl′s Day and GFriend among other popular idol groups.
Seventeen surprised the production team, who assumed the group wouldn′t be able to do anything and be confused when left stranded on an island, by fending for themselves just fine, from preparing a 39-person meal with various side dishes, even kimchi, to filleting raw fish.
Seventeen′s One Fine Day documenting the adventures of the group′s 13 members will premiere on February 15 on MBC Music and MBC Every1.
# 13 membered Seventeen, these days you’re really popular?
We’re grateful! Recently at the awards ceremony, we got surprised when the sunbaes followed along with our song. We will work harder!
# I heard Seventeen is divided into hip-hop, vocal, performance units.
Of course, we always have some kind of competition in a good way. Our appearance shown on our reality show before debut are 100% real. But after debut it has changed a bit. Before the winning team among the three teams would get an advantage, but now we don’t do such things since everything we do will be on the album, we’re just doing our best. We find the best in each unit, combine the three units and we get synergy
# Why do girls like Seventeen?
Maybe because Seventeen’s concepts are mostly about “boys” and we’re idols who tell stories about things our age? We heard that there might be a person who haven’t watched Seventeen’s performance even once but there isn’t anyone who watched it only once. We are always happy and fun on stage so i think that’s why they like us.
# I heard rumors that Seventeen are “Beagledol”.
We’re funny kids. You can see our Beagle side even on stage. Usually if you talk about the Beagle charm you’d think we wouldn’t be able to dance well, we Seventeen are proud of our stages. You’ll be able to confirm that appearance on our encore concert that will soon take place.
# How does the members’ age order go?
I’m the youngest 18 years old Dino. Since i’m an early born i was 17 years old last year, i’m finally a sophomore. I’m enjoying the final year feeling. I’m running to be the best among minors under university. (Hyungs smirked) I’m still thinking whether to enter university.
# Then who are the oldest?
S.Coups, Jeonghan and Joshua are 22 years old this year. It’s complicated since Seventeen has a lot of members and a lot are early year borns. So, we cleared hyungs and dongsaengs without considering the early year. (Mingyu raised his hands and shouted “I’m an adult this year”)
# Let’s get to know each member with some curious questions. First, known as the pretty face, Jeonghan, until when are you going to keep your long hair?
As long as i can keep it? Maybe i’ll change it when the time comes? I want to keep it until my scalp can no longer withstand the bleach. But perhaps i will keep this hair until the next album. I’m satisfied with this character, and the public remembering me as the long haired boy is more important.
# The public still doesn’t know a lot about you, which Seventeen member charm would you like to be known for sure?
Joshua! Joshua is emerging as the funniest members privately. I hope fans would know about this. In public he originally introduces himself as ‘gentleman’ but he’s the funniest one when it’s only us. He’s very confident when talking. Maybe it’s because he came from the US, he has unexpected charms. He lifts up the atmosphere and he’s funny. I hope you’ll come to know that.
# Mingyu’s nickname is “Visual Wanna Be”. You yourself know you’re handsome?
In fact, i purposely made the nickname “Visual Wanna Be” in case i got this type of question. It’s difficult to say “i’m in charge of the visuals” directly from my mouth. The Seventeen members are all handsome. So i just wanted to be more cool, in that sense i attached the nickname “Visual Wanna Be”. (Members heckle explosion)
# In fact, the first Seventeen member to be most known was Vernon. Vernon, have you thought about going on Mnet “Show Me The Money” again?
No, i don’t think i can do it. Actually, the “Show Me The Money 4″ recordings overlapped with the team activities so it was hard. Event at the time of the preliminary round, there was our debut showcase. So i kept going back and forth to prepare, i wasn’t in my right mind. From now on i want to focus on team activities. The project mission and rap preparation overlapped with Seventeen’s activities so i couldn’t sleep.
# You’re very popular these days, you must be really busy.
Before debut, i always thought “I wish i was busy”. But since it became true these days, we’re very happy. When we don’t have any activities, we really want to do it. We also want to quickly appear on music shows programs.
# When are you going to comeback? Everyone’s waiting.
Because we make the song and choreography ourselves, it hasn’t been determined yet. First, Woozi will produce the songs, and after the encore concert Hoshi is prepared to work hard. We’ll work hard and try to comeback as soon as possible.
Woozi appeared on the show with Raina and Lizzy and produced/remade the song 'You In My Imagination' by Noise along with Kye Bum Zu.

SEVENTEEN‘s encore concert sold out in just five minutes after opening.
The group’s agency Pledis Entertainment stated, “The ticketing for SEVENTEEN’s ‘LIKE SEVENTEEN – Boys Wish’ encore concert was held through Interpark. As soon as the tickets opened, their names rose in the search engines and the 7,000 seats were all sold out in five minutes.”
Ticketing for their concert was even fiercer last year when SEVENTEEN held their first concert since debut in December. Their tickets sold out in just one minute.
Fans are anticipating this encore concert since they will be able to see each members’ solo performances, as well as songs that aren’t released yet.
SEVENTEEN said, “Although we received recognition through our first concert, we decided to hold an encore concert because we wanted to become one with the audience and fill the room with our songs and performances once again. We want to give our fans the present of a chocolate-sweet performance, showing off our charms. Through the concert, we’ll match the beating of our hearts with those in the audience, so please look forward to it.”
SEVENTEEN’s encore concert will be held on February 13 and 14 at Olympic Park, SK Olympic Handball Stadium.

Zhou Mi seems to have a habit of adopting the younger Chinese kids in the industry, and the fact that my old dorky fave and my tiny precious fave are hanging out makes me giggle.
I can't wait for OFD. Just seeing them be goofy and destress together is great, and if it involves Dino moonwalking through some kind of plant life, even better. XD
