According to an insider, AOA is preparing a sub-unit to debut in late January or early February of this year. The group will reportedly have three members who have not been revealed yet. Their agency, FNC Entertainment, is currently busy with the final touches on their album production and other details.

AOA debuted in July of 2013 and have also promoted as sub-unit AOA Black which includes members Jimin, Choa, Yuna, Youkyung, and Mina. While it was previously reported that AOA and AOA Black will make a comeback, it appears as though this new AOA sub-unit will be the first to have promotions this year.

Many are curious about which members will be in this new AOA sub-unit as well as what their concept will be.

What kind of concept and which members would you like to see in this sub-unit?

Who will it be guys? The yet-to-debut AOA White? Choa/Yuna/Jimin? Rapper unit? Vocalist unit? Will Youkyung make her comeback after 2.5 years of absence? Is the unit guaranteed to have any of the 3 popular members (if not all of them) ie. Choa/Jimin/Seolhyun? Do people just want an AOA or AOA Black comeback instead? (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Anyone aside from AOA white makes little sense except Y but LBR the only AOA white member that can sing is Hyejeong so how would that even work?

I imagine more focus would be put on their dancing/choreo since that's supposed to be AOA White's speciality

Poor Y, what happened to the aoa black comeback. i hope she is making the $$ without doing anything cause it really sucks if the rest make $$ while she sits in the basement

FNC prioritising a new subunit over the member who needs a comeback the most is nagl indeed but not surprising either. CEO's been hinting at a new subunit since last year, guess they wanted to do it now?
