I don't have much to say except that while I adore this interview and love, love the way Irene speaks, especially about herself, I wish the photos were a little better for her. I think the angles from below are odd and make her eye bags really stand out - she looks so exhausted lately :(

For February, you can't forget Valentine's Day. How do you picture the scene of yourself receiving a confession?
I watched a movie with a girl that had short term memory loss called <50 First Dates>. The male lead lays in bed with the girl he loves, trying to keep her from falling asleep because once she does, her memory resets. At that moment, the guy asks the girl who has her eyes closed, "Will you marry me?", and it moved me. I usually find eye contact very important, but I really liked the scene where he could express his emotions while closing his eyes. When you confess you don't need big events. I think (when) your true feelings show it is good.

Is there a Red Velvet song you recommend to be used to confess your feelings?
I really like the song 'Candy'. "What would I have done if I didn't know you? Would I just laugh over this sad feeling? Don't go away, always stay by my side." Like the lyrics, someone could change me with their love, and that really touched me.

If you could represent love with a scent, what would it be?
I like warm things - be it a person, a color, whatever - so I like to use vanilla. Love also has a warm feeling, so vanilla seems good.

Is there a promise you want to keep this year?
I want to express my feelings more. There have been a lot of things after our debut and I don't say everything that's on my mind because that's just my personality. People could misunderstand and be hurt. Others trust me and tell me things, and they might think that I know what I'm doing and take care of myself. I think I need to work a bit harder.
Then you just have to talk more.
Should I? (Smile) I need to show my feelings more, and think about how to express them.
