Unpretty Mess and Show Me the Flops will return this year

“Unpretty Rapstar” will be back with another season.

According to an affiliate, Mnet will broadcast “Show Me the Money 5″ in May and then air “Unpretty Rapstar 3″ in the latter half of this year. “Unpretty Rapstar” first started off as a spin-off show of “Show Me the Money,” but its rising popularity has made yet another season possible.



Many talented hip-hop artists were in the spotlight thanks to “Unpretty Rapstar,” not just Cheetah and Truedy KittiB who were the winners of season one and two respectively. Many fans especially loved this show because only female rappers appeared and showed their feisty sides to audiences.

The only con about “Unpretty Rapstar” is that Mnet, who is in charge of the show, is known for misleading the audience by purposefully editing scenes to make someone have a certain image or reputation. The audience will have to stay tuned to find out how its third season will turn out.

If LE continues to refuse to do UR there's no reason anymore save for, I guess...., seeing HV Lime on the show. Unless there's going to be some old contestants or people who are super SUPER underground which would be cool.

I'm pretty sure she said she just didn't like the idea of battling and didn't feel like she was catty enough for the show or something. It basically came off from what I remember as her like throwing shade at mnet.

EDIT: From what I remember! I can't say for sure, but I know she didn't want to be on the show because the battling.

on SMTM she was sick and really stressed working for EXID so it was kind of a bad mix for her. I think if she wanted to be on UR she would do the same thing as Soomin and just buck up and do it.

I would like to see more female underground artists in Unpretty rapstars
I dols are welcomed too but last time there where far too many
But in the case of idols I want to see idols who are making a career
to make fool of themselves because I am a really bad person.

As for SMTM I don't want to see acts similar to the Snoop Dogg Incident
and I really get frustrated when they prepare a stage and just before
they send 1 of them away. This has to change and please no more
favours to YG Family...if their boys suck then kick them out.

Oh Haven't you noticed the side ways that SM wants to participate
by sending its artists on stages? I bet we will see more of SM
in the following seasons...

If I remember correctly both Bobby and BI made mistakes, mistakes that if were made by other they would have been kicked out. Though I do think BI is a good rapper and he ended up wining he made some mistakes in the early episodes of SMTM and were ignored. But I haven't watched the whole season.

Mino was good, I think he should have won but that's my personal biased opinion.

Unpretty is so fun to watch. Especially if we get another Yezi. But I'd like more rookies and underground artists. EXY got the short end of the stick with coming in literally at the tail end of the season.

They'll probably bring Exy back. I can't think of any other idols that are good at rapping that would be good on the show though? At least none on Yezi's level (already knew she was good before the show). I know Lime used to be underground but honestly, I don't see anything special in her rapping. LE doesn't want to do it. Bipa from Lip Service maybe? Jucy if she wants to keep trying. M-zero is a trainee at Stardom whose mixtape was okay. I would like more female underground rappers though. Too bad Choi Sam hates these shows.
