They couldn't even film a new MV? lol damn. I think it sounds alright though, until GD's parts. The translation there sounds too jilted, and doesn't flow as nicely.

i asked one japanese fan i know and her response was she liked big bang not for the music but for their image, personalities, visuals, etc. she said she doesn't really care about the japanese versions or the stilted japanese original songs. she thinks almost all of them sound awful. she said she wishes yg would just stop that and repackage korean material with bonus goods/dvds or something. she also mentioned japanese fans get irritated with the laziness sometimes but end up buying merch anyway bc the fanclub members get special bonuses/better ticketing for concerts/rewards, etc for doing so. also mentioned she absolutely despises how yge releases a new "best album" every year as a quick cash grab and she refuses to buy them. basically, yge cons japanese fans into purchasing bc of concert ticketing lotteries/fc benefits, and jp fans are pretty self-aware about it, is what i took from it anyway.

that's just one anecdotal perspective i know. i asked her about this sometime in 2014 during some of daesung's albums promo, dunno if anything changed since then about how fanclub stuff works. i'm sure japanese fans all have various points of views tho.
