The boy band's 'Exodus' album is also the year's biggest Korean LP in the U.S.

EXO once again is the top K-pop act on Billboard's year-end World Albums Artists chart. The boy band lands at No. 7 on the tally, which recaps the top-performing acts on the weekly World Albums chart during Billboard's 2015 chart year (which ran from Dec. 6, 2014-dated list to Nov. 28, 2015).

A majority of the success comes from the band's sophomore LP, Exodus: The 2nd Album, released in April. The record hit No. 95 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on World Albums upon its arrival and marked the largest sales week ever for a K-pop act's album in America. EXO re-released Exodus as Love Me Right: The 2nd Album Repackage, which came with new songs and a new single. That LP hit No. 2 on World Albums on the chart June 20.

The group also released a live album in late December, Sing For You, which debuted on the chart dated Dec. 26. Thus, it missed the eligibility period for Billboard's 2015 chart year, but will be included in the 2016 recap

Exodus is also the only Korean album to appear on Billboard's year-end World Albums chart, landing at No. 8 on the chart. It is also, so far, the year's top selling K-pop album of 2015, with two tracking weeks left in the year. It's EXO's first appearance on the chart and marks the best ranking for a Korean artist following 2NE1's Crush album bowed at No. 11 in 2014 -- the first-ever entry for a K-pop act.

Despite their success, EXO lost yet another member this year when Tao looked to end his contract with their label, SM Entertainment -- the third group member to do so since 2014 -- leaving the outfit to promote as a ninesome.

EXO will hold their first American tour in early February, including stops in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Toronto.

Seeing those dates I'm actually thinking of going tbh. I've never been to US anyway and I've always wanted to visit it. Which city you'd reccomend?

Well, of those cities, my favorite ones to visit as a tourist have been NYC & Vancouver (haven't been to Chicago yet), but it doesn't necessarily follow that those will be the most convenient/comfortable spots to attend Exo's tour, so idk...depends on your airfare situation, what kind of atmosphere you want, etc. And they'll probably be exhausted by the time the NYC show rolls around, so you might want to take that into account...but then again, that's the city with most things to do.

Dallas is definitely the least tourist-friendly (it doesn't even crack the top three most interesting Texan cities to visit).

I think I'll probably fo to NYC because I love big fun cities with lots of things to do/see plus it's one of those cities that you have to see at least once in your life time lol.

If you're looking for fun things to do outside of the concert, NYC or LA would probably be great. Although you'll have to plan ahead for transportation because the NYC date is actually in a NJ arena. Not too hard to prepare for though!

Thanks for the recs! I think I'll probably go to NYC because everyone says that it's such a fun, dynamic city and that's totally my cup of tea. Plus the flights aren't that expensive as I thought.
