I'm in that demo and I went to see BB live in NJ as a fan - I haven't seen a concert crowd that spanned that many age groups since Robbie Williams!

Most of my peers didn't morph into ballad-centric Adult Contemporary people when we hit 40, but then we were punk/new wavers, Britpop, goth/industrial and Madchester/rave/grunge fans in the preceding years. We do often wonder when a kpop idol wears a vintage t-shirt for a band we loved whether they actually know that music.
