Date: 2015-12-19 02:54 pm (UTC)I got back from work at 9 on wednesday and stayed up an extra 2 hours doing my brother's makeup for the star wars midnight screening to look like darth maul. It held all night and apparently he was the most dressed up person at the cinema so strangers were asking him for pictures and he gave me lindt chocolate to say thank you! (Probably my parents idea but still) #worthit makes me nostalgic for when i used to do face painting as a side job. He's 6'4 too so he looked super imposing. I didn't think we's pull it off but it worked.
I asked the mods if i could submit an original (it was gonna be a review of the barberettes in london) but then i got snowed undet at work and TOTALLY forgot and now i'm wondering if it would be appropriate to submit it four months late lol. Also writing reviews is really hard, damn first line writer's block.

I spent oast few days on making chocolates. I thought I made too much but then I sold some to uni friends (had a master plan on giving them samples for free eariler this month and it worked in my favour ^^) and a lot of stuff is already gone, which is nice. Will give some to friends as christmas gifts and the rest will be eaten by my mom. I think I made like 20 different kinds, like oreo truffles, various chcolate coated truffles or pralines in many shapes with all kinds of fillings. It was fun but stressful as I haven't made chocolate in months... Glad it turned out well.

Date: 2015-12-19 04:10 pm (UTC)I've been finishing work at 9-10pm just because I was staying extra to finish my itinerary for my trip and OMG why is it so hard... God bless nice people who wrote tutorials on using Naver Maps, finding Jae's cafes and Moldir among other things.
Went to the builder's depot today to get replacement boards for my chest of drawers... damn you, persistent humid UK air and mildew.
I just need to take care of everything before my trip and I'll be able to relax... finally. Thank God, I found con tickets for myself and my friends. One less worry.
