Jihyo and Jungyeon are just stunning. I wish Jungyeon would get rid of those bangs though and cut the rest of her hair even shorter. Sana can seriously pull off any hair colour.
Jungyeon really is gorgeous but imo the dark hair looks really dull on her. I hope they dye it to a lighter shade because the light brown / blonde-ish hair was fresh and eye-catching.
It seems to me like her and Jihyo are the most under appreciated.
I don't really know that much about her sister tbh. I think the reason Jungyeon went to JYP was because Jihyo was already there. I know her, Jihyo and Nayeon are childhood friends and they most likely wanted to stick together.
I'm (almost) sure that said something like out of 3 biggest companies, jyp is the best for her sister and she experienced how hard the life of trainee is (esp. in SM). smth like that. i keep searching for the interview to give you precise answer :3
I think Tzuyu, Nayeon, and Dahyun are the most popular in Korea. It seems like the Pann fangirls also like Chaeyoung, Sana and to a certain extent Jeongyeon. Mina seems to be popular with fanboys too.
it may be an element of that there but the most popular members of got7 internationally are mark and jackson (and to a lesser extent bambam). it could be that jype just knows how to market the foreign members well.
Foreign members of every group are generally well loved until a Korean member blow up in Korea and that member started showing up in all the cfs, varieties, dramas, etc and international fans start to follow. Jia was the most popular internationally when Miss A debuted, but now it's Suzy. Min's popularity back then was due to her being in Little Winners and her status as a famous JYPE trainee. Amber and Victoria are more popular internationally than in Korea.
It's not about them being Japanese, but it's about them being foreigners in Korea. Plus Mina and Sana is loved for their looks internationally and in Korea. International fans also love Momo's looks and her dancing skills.
