(i couldn't find a good banner so have some of jonghyun's fresh new brown hair.) this weekend (from december 11th - 13th) jonghyun successfully finished up his run of encore concerts for his solo concert series, the story by jonghyun. the encore series consisted of five shows (one friday, two saturday / sunday) and brought the grand total of solo concerts that jonghyun has done since the start of october to seventeen. (twenty if you count the three busking concerts that he did in september.) the concert on the 11th was broadcast live throughout japan in fifty two sold out theaters to a japanese audience of around 10,000 people. (blah, blah, more stuff behind the cut!)

ones of the fans jonghyun talked to in the audience was a twenty five year old fourth grade teacher who said that she was unsatisfied with the path she ended up taking in her life. she said that she doesn’t really know her passion, and that she was actually jealous of jonghyun because he’s so sure and focused on his passions. jonghyun didn’t really know how to respond to her jealousy, but he told her: “well, everyone walks a different path. you’re young. you’re even younger than me!”

he then asked her: “what do you do well?” and she kind of stammered because it’s a tough question to answered. so, he joked: “even if you said just "watching television”, just something." so, she said: ”well, i’m really good at sleeping“ and jonghyun laughed.

jonghyun sang a new song during the concert! the theme to the new song is kind of like: “thank you, thanks to you i can stay warm.” it was really touching and everyone ended up crying. after the song ended jonghyun heard people crying and he was like: “are you crying? who’s crying? i hear sniffles. do you have a cold? be careful.”

when jonghyun was telling the fans that he did a lot of activities this year, he started naming them
off and, as he kept saying them, the fans could see the “realization” on his face that he really did a
lot and, when he finished, he was like: “whoa, such a busy year.”

jonghyun told the fans that he saw a lot of foreigners in the crowd and he was so glad (that they
were there) then he said “hello” in chinese, english and japanese. when a message to foreigners
(that appears during every show where he says that he’s sorry   that everything in the   show is
done in korean but he’s thankful that foreigners come and hopes they’ll still be able to share the
“moment” together) appeared on the screen he said: “it’s in chinese, english and japanese” then
paused and said “global fans” in english.

jonghyun: it was a fun year. even though i was really, really busy, i think i received a lot of strength
mentally. it was fun and i’m happy that we’re (all) together.

for the concerts this time around, jonghyun’s fan union prepared banners like they did the first time
around but, unlike last time, they’ve included hashtags with the messages on the banners to help
them trend on twitter.

jonghyun: wait, but why do you keep on putting a sharp symbol on your banners?

jonghyun: a twitter hashtag? oh my god, i didn’t know.

Right. It is really good Jonghyun dyed his hair again he has had it blonde for so long it must be damaged. I am sure they have amazing stylist though and get treatments done, but you can only do so much you know.
